Another Twinbrook renovation.

Yesterday, I had some time to play The Sims 3 again, so I started to give a makeover to the Pidgin family's house (Pidgin Roost) in Twinbrook.

As you can see, I have not finished it yet, so that's why the landscaping is missing, along with the interior.

how is your world going? what's your favourite house so far

Hi there!

Briarcliff Harbor is paused at the moment, but I'm looking forward to working on it again. I've been swamped recently with other stuff, which took a lot of free time away from me. I know it's a very long journey by now... I've been working on it since March 2020 xD

But to be honest, the majority of the world is finished, I mean all the houses are done and the families too, we did a lot of testing (with my boyfriend) and unfortunately the world still has some routing issues and many shell buildings which I don't really like.

Long story short, I just wanna make sure that everything is perfect so I can represent an issue-free version of BH.

My favorite building is definitely The Upsnott Estate, but I'm proud of all of them and the fact that the world only has 1 EA rabbit whole. The downside of this is that the world has quite a lot of (build mode) CC.

The last time (it was months ago) :( I worked on these neighboring houses on Parkway Street. :D

The Hudson House

Originally, it was called the Baker House, but I got bored of it, so I completely redesigned the floor plan, roofing, and landscaping, and that's how the Hudson House was born. :D

hi! do u have any tips on recreating houses from references? like specifically proportions and roofing? i’ve been heavily inspired by you for awhile i just struggle to make my houses accurately like you!!

I wish I could give some useful tips but the truth is that I really can't. I check Realtor and Zillow.com very frequently and if I find a house that I like, I check it on Google Maps as well just to make sure to see it from every angle, but since the game has its limits in terms of building when something is too complicated I have to remodel something. Still, the base stays the same and if it turns out crappy I'll just demolish it. It's all about testing and trying and I guess I have a good eye for measuring proportions correctly.
