A tiny Matt tugged at her sleeves, having to stretch up on his very tip toes to reach. âDo you have any quarters? Iâm going to go to the arcade! Iâm also gonna try and get the highest score on the space game.âÂ
Oh no, it's little and cute. "I-I'm sorry," she said, kneeling down to his level. "I'm completely broke." All she had was school lunch tickets, and that wasn't really going to help the situation.Â

"You ruined the surprise." Mihael smirked, reaching out and flicking her nose. "How could you tell? Other than the teleportation trick⌠most people take a while to figure it out." The ground rumbled as a truck drove by, the lights flashing on both of their faces and causing Mihael to raise a hand to defend his eyes.Â
Rad⌠not many people every referred to him as rad. It was almost refreshing, and a smile tugged at his lips.Â
Normally she would've gotten super offended by the fact that he flicked her nose, especially since she barely knew him, but she let it go. Because, well, he was dead. And she thought that was cool. "Oh, uh.. I dunno. I just assumed, I guess? I'm dead too, but I can't do the cool ghost stuff. I'm not even a ghost, I don't think. I'm just a sad kid who can't accept her shitty life. Literally." Naomi had never been more spot-on.
Instead of just shielding her eyes, her first instinct was to turn away from the light completely, so she did. She felt extremely silly for doing this, but tried to act as if it was a totally normal thing to do anyway.

He supposed speaking to her might prove⌠difficult through the window, so he disappeared from her line of sight. It would appear as though he had vanished into thin air, as he stepped through the glass and stood next to her in the street. Noticing the slight nervousness in her posture- slight beads of sweat, a nearly unnoticeable tremble to her fingers- he stood a little farther away. Ghosts werenât the only things that went bump in the night.Â
He swiftly returned to her view, leaning against the wall in the most casual of ways. âItâs rather dark out. Itâs dangerous to wander the streets.â His tone was light, despite his words he was trying not to scare her.Â
Oh, wonderful, now she was seeing things. Her fear and nervousness quickly turned into disappointment, and she was just about to walk away - but something made her stay. For some reason, Naomi lingered around just long enough to see him reappear. And even though this scared her at first, she suddenly felt considerably more comfortable around him. There was a hint of a smirk on her poorly lit face.
"Are you dead? You're dead, aren't you?" In her excitement, she moved closer to the blonde. "You can do all the cool ghost stuff. That's so rad."Â

The boy smiled, leaning forward and placing a small peck on her lips. Â âWas that good enough?â Â He said, grinning. Â
Siiiiiigggghhhh. "Remember when we had fun? Like, genuine fun. Why don't we do that anymore? Everything is so weird now. It sucks. I never know what's going on with you. Sometimes you want to be with me and you don't, and I'm so confused."

He smiled, leaning back in his chair and his looking from her to the window, then back to her. Â âAre you sure?â Â The smile turned to a smirk. Â âI mean, youâre beautiful, of course, thats not the issue, the issue is that it might just lead to sex, huh?â Â He chuckled, leaning back onto the table. Â
Sighing, the girl stood up and walked around the table to him, taking a seat on his lap. "That isn't a problem, y'know," she whispered, resting her forehead against his. "You can tease me all you want, but the truth is that you want to kiss me. You know that you want to kiss me, and you have to be teasing yourself, too. So what's the point? If you want to, and I want you to, then just do it."Â

Yataki entered the store, pretended to browse for a moment, and then went to the counter and smiled at the shopkeeper. Â He took a screwdriver out of his pocket and unscrewed the cash register from the desk, still smiling. Â The man behind the counter was too shocked to even argue, and simply stuttered a bit. Â Yataki picked up the cash register, grinned at the guy and then spun on his heel and walked out, looking over his shoulder once to see the man still standing there in awe. Â Yataki winked at him, and walked around the block a few times as the man tried to chase him before returning to the cafe, putting the entire cash register on the table. Â âYouâre welcome.â
"Holy shit," she muttered. Out of all the things she was expecting, an entire cash register was not one of them. "Uhm, thanks, I guess. I feel kinda bad though. But I mean, I deserve it more then the person you took it from. They probably haven't been through nearly as much shit as me." Naomi wasn't a bad person. She knew that stealing was wrong, and that taking this cash register was wrong, but she still tried to convince herself it was alright. "So, to answer your question.." Her heart raced a little. "Yes, I do want you to kiss me."

He moved forwards so their faces were real close and smiled. Â âSure, I want to, but the question is, do you want me to kiss you? Â Because if Im to be gentlemanly Im not just gonna kiss you without consent.â Â He smiled, standing up. Â âYou think on that, Im gonna go and rob that store.â Â The boy set out across the street.
She smiled back at him. He played the game well. "What a tease..." Naomi muttered, standing and walking over to the counter. "Could I have a piece of cake? My boyfriend," using that word in reference to Yataki made her feel kind of uneasy, "stepped out for a minute, but when he gets back, I'll be able to pay." The lady at the counter argued with her for a bit, but eventually handed over the cake. Naomi sat back down with it, stabbing it with her fork numerous times before actually eating any of it.Â

Her smirk turned into a very unpleasant look of pain. "My fucking.. Jesus fuck, my nose burns. It fucking.. OW." What a bad idea. "This hurts. This is painful. Not a good idea at all. You're an asshat. Why did I listen to you." Most of the things she was saying were sort of mumbled as she rubbed the side of her nose. Rubbing it wouldn't accomplish anything, and Naomi knew that, but it was really all she could do. "If you want to fucking kiss me so badly, then just do it. It isn't like I have a boyfriend to stop you."Â
