TLOU Season 2 made me replay the game and watch a few videos about the ending.

Most comments are garbage, complaining about how the entire game is a waste of time because Ellie didn't kill Abby.

"Imagine if John Wick didn't avenge his dog"

There was a long and well written comment about PTSD and how it affected Ellie's decision.

"I'm not reading all that"

I'm just going to assume these are men commenting because it's statistically more likely and also because this is just me rambling, but...

Men are so used to any kind of media feeding them what they want, the same thing over and over again, that it's inconceivable when something goes off the script.

They can't get their heads around it. It's confusing, it's stressful, so they get angry, because that's the only acceptable bad emotion that "real men" are allowed to feel.

They just get stuck in the anger phase of grief and can't move past it.

Not sure where I'm trying to get here, but I can't stop thinking about it and how this is a truly sad way of living your life. lol

I know Joel was born and raised in Texas but honestly I don't think he would gaf about Ellie dating girls.

I feel like the entire Ellie x Jesse thing was meant to be "Joel being an oblivious dad" instead of "Joel is somehow homophobic" lol

I know the point of that scene was "Joel being an overprotective dad and getting worried about 16yo Ellie doing stupid teenage things" but, oh boy, they could've done it in a better way

We have to talk about how Bryke have been consistently writing shitty continuations for both ATLA and TLOK and how they should probably retire and just let new writers do their job, because what the actual fuck is this new Avatar series they're planning.

In my opinion, other than both original series, the best "extended universe" content for the Avatar Universe has been created by other writers, such as:

- F. C. Yee and Randy Ribay and their works for the Chronicles of the Avatar books

- Faith Erin Hicks and her work with Imbalance and the standalone comics

- Kiku Hughes and the Mako centered comics (not released yet, but looks very promising)

(Just to name a few, there are other works by other artists, that I didn't have time to catch up.)

Now, we've got the works Bryke created or "supervised" the creation, such as the early ATLA comics + TLOK comics, that included problematic points, just to name a few:

- Azula going insane and kidnapping children (?)

- Roku asking Aang to kill Zuko (??)

- poorly written Kuvira redemption arc

And other aspects of ooc behavior.

About this official synopsis of the new franchise, they truly decided to give all the Korra haters (who mostly blame her for shit she didn't do) the best reason to hate her so far.

And honestly, I think part of the Korra hate comes from how Bryke wrote the show, in the first place (but we can't forget to blame Nickelodeon as well)

For me, at this point, anything "bryke included" is doomed to fail. They have been missing the point for a long time now and I don't think they will get any better.

Yes, thanks for creating this amazing franchise, but I think it's time to move on and let competent people take care of it before it's too late.

Small Tips For ClipStudio

I have some hours before work so I’ll use them to actually detail why I’ve found CSPaint to be so efficient for bastard-aligned painters who like to take shortcuts.

This will seem familiar to most of you guys, but this functions a little bit different from Photoshop. It turns everything you draw on the layer into editable curves, but retains the aliased smoothness of an ordinary raster layer. Practically a cheat to access the whole suite of amazing tools CS offers for lineart. Such as:

The vector eraser is The Best™. You can be as messy as possible and this tool erases the excess. One pen-flick and it’s done. Much faster than cleaning it up by hand. You can also tweak the settings of this brush to encapsulate more/less lines as you erase but that’s getting a little more involved. Anyway, last thing:

Maybe the only thing better than the vector eraser. There are multiple settings, but these three are the most handy. You can smooth wiggly edges, connect broken strokes, and tweak the width/weight to exactly how you want it. This also has a ton of settings you can play around with. It’s great!

There’s a lot more tools you can use, but you get the point! It’s a really good drawing program. I recommend it!
