Alright so maybe my question came of as snobby or even stupid to which i do apologize for I admit that i know next to nothing abour nelsons relationship with lady Hamilton and pulled the question just out of smth i observed with how they get talked about.

My question did came from limited knowledge and just genuine curiosity of how Nelson's relationship with lady Hamilton is more looked at with love then hate.

And now i do know now one crucial detail that could've not make me send that question and that is that nelson and his wife were estranged i didnt know so i do thank that one person that mentioned it clearly instead of insulting me saying that i excuse warcrimes but draw the line at cheating???? To the person who said Emma Hamilton and Nelson’s relationship is stupid and blah blah blah. You do realise that if he could have, he would have simply divorced the shit out of his wife and have left her well compensated and therefore would not have been cheating on her. He also made SURE she had a LOT of financial support, despite his affair. Nelson and his wife loved each other yes but they BOTH were not INLOVE with each other. But he fully believed that he and Emma were soulmates and that God intended them to be together. You complaining about this literally makes you sound like some uppity Victorian.
