Unpopular opinion in this fandom: Kakashi is not that great. I never understood why he gets so much praise. They are "cooler" ninja's out there with more impressive feats. He showed obvious favoritism towards one of his students then abandoned said student and was ready to kill him on order. The only loyalty he shown is towards the village he knows is tainted. Plus he is the biggest fucking hypocrite. Sasuke's revenge (motivated by justice) is wrong but Shikamaru's (motivated by grieve) is okay

I don’t know why but Kakashi gets more credits than he deserves around here… I guess the majority of fans accept whatever the narrator says without questioning. 

Kakashi is overrated and seen as cool/perfect when he really isn’t… I wonder if people even remember when he himself admitted some of his mistakes and flaws in regards to Sasuke and team 7…?
