Is it me but I think Naruto Part 1 is really darked (slavery, genocide and ninja child). I even remember that when I looked at Naruto for the second time I was tramatise of part 1. Would you have liked if naruto shippuden would have looked like part 1?

Well I tend to like darker themes in animes well let’s say more mature themes but I guess I wish shippuden would’ve follow through with part 1

They should’ve gone through with Neji’s life more and let us know if there were more slaves in the hyuga clan and maybe let us see how neji (and maybe Hinata the poor girl needs some character development and more screen time that doesn’t involve naruto-kun) deals with all of this

Also they should’ve do the whole genocide thing differently like the way they handled itachi and all of that but a big thing for me was how smoothly the 4th shinobi war kind of was

Because one thing that they did mention quite a bit in shippuden is how the 3rd shinobi war was so hard many people seem like they had ptsd about it that war wrecked villages traumatized people and gave birth to the akatsuki but the 4th war was like okay everyone’s defeated everyone go home Kakashi is homage now everyone go home

If they had a proper war maybe against real people like the sound village that was led through orochimaru or something that would make it better

Also some of the villages shouldn’t help the leaf during the war if the stakes aren’t so high like the original 4th war there would be no real reason why all the shinobi villages need to participate maybe orochimaru is only targeting a few villages and have made shady treaties with others I believe that would make the war seem a lot more mature in my opinion

Another thing is they should show how all of konoha goes through all of this especially naruto because this man was the most hyped about the damn war he should see the real damage danger and death that war actually causes and he should see his home village wrecked… anyways I think I took this ask way to far but oh well lol

I want to see more the BNHA girls and get their deserved development. But they keep getting getting sidelined.

Tbh I don’t know what to tell you that’s practically all shounen this is not the demographic for you if you want to see girls/women doing anything remotely cool, interesting, or plot worthy if it doesn’t have anything to do with shipping

I find that shounen that have little to not women in it is better then them being objectified or something but I just got use to it most likely the girls are gonna continue to get sideline anyways or not get as much development as the guy and the main reason why I’m even following up with bnha is for bakugou and his development anyways plus none of the girls are really interesting to me if I’m being honest

I know this wasn’t the ask but to me all the girls are so boring it’s like the only characteristics they have are ‘cute floaty girl’ ‘cute frog girl’ or ‘cute pinky girl’ like none of them do anything for me I was intrigued with momo for a sec because of her quirk but then she just turned to an over sexualized todoroki admiring cute girl

Now I can be wrong I don’t really read the manga I skim through it and that’s so I can see development for the boys so idc much

Why do you never talk about Family Guy when that's worse than Naruto?

Well because first off this is an anti naruto blog not an anti family guy blog go look somewhere else for that type of content second I don’t believe family guy is worse then naruto (however I haven’t been watching the newer episodes so I can be wrong) plus I don’t really care about family guy to make a blog for it and I’m more of an American dad person anyways Thanks for the ask ☦️

WHY DO WE ACCEPT MEDIOCRITY IN (SHOUNEN) ANIME

Disclaimer: I am talking about the ANIME of these series. I don’t care that if I read the manga then something would make more sense, or the manga is way better, or I have to look in the databooks to understand why this worked and wasn’t just plot convenience blah blah blah no

I wanted to write about this for a while now and I know that the west isn’t the primary target for anime and I have heard (don’t know if this is 100% accurate tho) that people in Japan that do like anime like the standard troupes in which category of anime they watch and have no problem with those troupes being used constantly

However it’s just been bugging me lately that the bulk of animes that’ve been coming out as of late have been so lackluster. Every time I try to get into another anime I immediately stop watching after like 10 minutes into the episode because I can tell what’s about to happen Black Clover.

And I’m not saying that Black Clover is bad I’m just saying that there’s no originality in it or the other shows being produced. There are some shounen that are okay like Bnha and Attack on titan that I can get through and watch, but that it there just okay.

Recently there have not been enough of the one punch man’s or mob psycho’s that shake up the shounen genre with refreshing concepts and ideas. And you may or may not like OPM or mob but you can’t deny it’s something vastly different then the other shounen that have been out lately.

I remember under a YouTube video someone commented something like ‘people outgrow troupes and have a shorter tolerance for certain character archetypes because you know they can be done better’ and that really resonated with me when it comes to a lot of modern shounen animes today. Many new shounen’s are just to similar nothing outstanding or revolutionary like YYH, JoJo, fmab, HxH.

And what made these animes so great especially to me are the way they aren’t trying to be like a regular shounen and the mangaka weren’t scared to do something different.

For example HxH, first I wanna say that I wouldn’t exactly call it a deconstruction anime however it does not follow the usual shounen troupes. Like the protagonist and his wishy washy morality, the villains seeming like living breathing being because they have need and wants outside of the main cast, and the main nen system being beautifully crafted that all anyone has to do is just train hard enough to be extremely powerful. No one needs to be a wizard god king, born with an OP quirk, or even have the best kekkei genkai Jesus eye/9 tails and child of prophecy to be powerful.

JoJo has stands and it’s proven in the show just because your stand is OP doesn’t guarantee you a win, FMAB whole story is beautifully crafted the themes from racism to war etc. and there are real consequences in brotherhood for the brothers, or in YYH like in HxH, where all the characters are amazing etc. (I can go on with praising these shows but I don’t want this post to be to long) Some of these animes aren’t even my favorite but I can appreciate them and love the variety they bring to the shounen genre.

And of course these animes are far from perfect (JoJo first season isn’t the best, YYH ending was rushed, HxH chimera arc does lag but the payoff was worth it in my opinion, and I don’t really have anything negative to say about fmab loved it all the way through etc.) but those were still great animes that people still discuss and love til this day.

Do you really believe where mha and black clover are at right now that they would stand the test of time and be remembered as great shounen’s that people love and still discuss other then for shipping fuel and fan service?

And when people do praise those shows it’s for what they don’t do wrong. Yes some of the shows follow the shounen troupes and they do it well but they don’t take any risk or have any stand out points which makes them pretty forgettable to me.

And it’s not only troupes or character archetypes I’m also talking about character designs and art styles so many characters look like SAO rejects or from some cheesy slice of life anime that they get boring.

That’s another thing I like about Mob the creativity of the show is amazing! The character designs plus the amazing and colorful backgrounds when it comes to action scenes that make the anime a masterpiece to watch. Devilman crybaby is another anime with a different art style. The art was a little off putting to me but I could appreciate that they were trying to do something new and the artist wasn’t afraid to get really creative.

I just want some new ideas and concepts I’m tired of all the mediocrity in shounen. Maybe make an amoral protagonist, a true underdog MC, a villain with amazing ideals and philosophy that your agreeing with them, etc. these aren’t even new concept but they are barely used in the shounens that would be great to see.

Pretty much all I’m trying to say that personally I just want more variety in the genre and hopefully that happens somewhere in the near future.

I did watch that episode and I kind of hated that fight it reminded me a lot about the ino vs Sakura chunin exam fight how sakura came over ino mind control with inner Sakura?¿?

Deku kind of did the same thing but I guess with crazy anime magic or was it like the spirits of the past all for one quirk users?…if I’m remembering correctly, and I just fell like it was an asspull plain and simple idc what anyone says or how they try to explain it but I’m not gonna go on a rampage about it I just thought it wasn’t fair to Shinsou that’s all and this is a good example when I say that deku one for all quirk is super OP

I don’t hate naruto I guess you can say I’m more so disappointed in it and how shippuden let me down

Mind you the first part of naruto isn’t perfect (the naruto vs neji fight was bull) but it was really great it had some logical plot points great villains that seem life threatening, AMAZING tactical fights that doesn’t just show you who can make the biggest explosions, the clever ways everyone uses there chakra, itachi was crazy cool, and it was funny but also heartwarming

Shippuden is just a shit show it’s like it retcon almost everything the first part of naruto established first naruto was suppose to be an underdog well nope he has the nine tails

Also he was suppose to show neji how you can escaped your own destiny by becoming the child of prophecy pein was such a great villain and the way they ended him was just tragic and on top of the the end of the peon arc was crap reviving everyone was just dumb

Plus the way they didn’t use any of the rookie nine or team gai at all in shippuden was such a waste especially how they hype up some of them in part one like lee or neji and they literally just focused on uchiha drama and maybe show us things in other clans and etc. the world building in my opinion was trash we never leave the leaf village

The whole tobi/obito thing was crap TNJ'ing every crazy powerful villain the way all the akatsuki died after them being hyped up to be these amazing S-rank criminals being beaten by mere chunin (especially the kakazu and hidan fight pure bull) itachi in shippuden was a huge ass mess oh and the fourth shinobi war was a whole ass mess

And then the worst part of it all I think were the ships just so they can beat the dead horse to make another series where the kids that are suppose to be stronger and better then there parents however we never really get a chance to see it because there are no big threats like in naruto part one with the chunin exams boruto chunin exams looks like a walk in the park compare to naruto’s

There’s a lot more I can add (like I didn’t even get started on kakashi, shikamaru, sakura, or how dumb sasuke gets when it comes to itachi) but I’m to lazy also I’m trying this new thing when people send me rude asks I calmly explain to them why they’re wrong and why I am right so tell me what you think about how I answered your ask lol

How different do you think naruto (the story) would have been if sakura wasn't the heroine/there wasn't a heroine at all?

It wouldn’t be that much different at all since just no love triangle and Sakura didn’t really make that much difference in the series so it wouldn’t do much I guess just ino wouldn’t get a best friend/rival sasuke wouldn’t get an annoying fangirl and naruto wouldn’t get his head bashed so much but not much would change

Maybe if we got a different Mangaka then the story would change, plot holes would be fixed loose ends would be all tied up and hopefully no storylines would be dropped or forgotten for a love triangle or more uchiha angst (mind you I like sasuke lol) and naruto wanking

What Manga are you reading, because Sakura became a medical Ninja to help out Sasuke and Nardo !! You suggested Sakura did it out of "attention " while praising Ino who's been shady since her childhood days with Sakura saying " I wish shed never gotten out of her shell" regarding Sakura wtf. Good friend isn't she, the people get mad when Sakura dropped her lol, there was tension between and she was shady first.

Idk what manga your reading but Ino was a pretty good friend to Sakura she helped her against her bullies got her out of her shell and made her see how capable she was as a human being Sakura is the that ended there friendship over a boy ino isn’t a perfect friend but in my opinion she was still a better friend then what Sakura deserved

NARUTO IS SELFISH AS F*CK

You know what I hate when people come on my page and ask me how naruto is selfish I’m not gonna tag the person (and this is not the first time) but if you can’t see how selfish naruto truly is then your a little dense to me

Naruto literally only cared for himself, his aspirations, and dreams have you ever seen naruto truly try to understand and compromise with sasuke? No naruto never tried to reason with sasuke and understand why sasuke was doing what he was doing all he wanted to do was drag sasuke back to the village because he was lonely

Naruto doesn’t even have sympathy every times he’s trying to understand someone he has to see himself in that person to have any empathy for them example obito

If naruto was really selfless he would’ve kept all his promises! we would’ve seen him changing the hyuga side branch, the hidden rain village would’ve gotten aid, expose the konoha government dealings with the uchiha massacre, and there wouldn’t be anymore shinobi kids because those are true selfless acts but naruto doesn’t care about any of that because he got to become hokage that’s all he really wanted in life was recognition

From the beginning wasn’t naruto just screaming about how everyone would see how great he is and he would be hokage?

Since when does bragging about how great you are and how you can change things but doesn’t make you selfless? And yes he goes on missions but he’s paid for that I think a lot of people forget how these shinobi villages work being a ninja is naruto’s job at the end of the day he gets paid for what he does so it’s not really him being selfless

Naruto couldn’t even be bothered to ask sasuke if they should expose the uchiha massacre and make konoha pay for there crimes instead he decided to side with the criminal that killed the clan and sweep it under the rug to protect the village and not cause any trouble for him to become hokage

And I bet I missed a couple of more examples on how selfish naruto is but I just wrote this in the heat of the moment because it’s so annoying how people can’t see how naruto is so selfish

Why do you necessarily assume I trash naruto because I think it’s cool? I just do it because I’m bored and running this blog brings me some entertainment and I invested a lot of my time in naruto especially when I was younger and I didn’t like the outcome of the series so I shit on it

If people can still say how much they love naruto then I can still talk about how much I hate it

And yeah there is this trend going around that people tend to hate on mainstream animes because that seems cool but to be honest usually the mainstream animes aren’t even that good there not horrible like naruto but they aren’t that great

and I don’t dislike all mainstream animes I really like one punch man hasn’t that become pretty mainstream? death note, fmab, plus hxh is my favorite anime of all time

I actually have no problem with popular animes I just have a problem when the masses that hype up these animes with subpar writing, lazy characterization, and same old over used troupes and call me a hater for calling the series out… like don’t you want to read/watch good stuff?

And why shouldn’t we demand more from our mangaka’s? Are we suppose to be okay with D- work lie and call it amazing? It makes me happy that you use "Kishimoney" as a tag. I'm so salty that the fandom has largely dropped the nickname. Like come on, it's a perfect for him because it's so obvious the manga was just a paycheck to him. His plot twists were lazy, his characterization was recycled, and the only time I got the feeling he was invested in his writing was when he was self-inserting into Naruto. "Overworked dad" is a stupid theme for ninja manga, but Kishi wanted to project his own issues onto Naruto.

Honestly I use that tag because it’s such a clever and funny name to me

But It did seem like the money was more important to him then the integrity of his work everything just becomes so lazy after awhile his characters don’t even have different personalities anymore everyone acts the same wanking naruto just because

I always says this naruto even before the ending wasn’t that great but it had some integrity kishimoto isn’t the best manga writer when he tries but he isn’t the worst but once he allowed the money to cloud his vision that’s when naruto became absolute trash

The whole overworking dad thing for naruto makes absolutely no sense to me it’s like they decided to take the most laziest problem for boruto to overcome and they try to make it seem like it’s this life or death thing

I think it’s okay for a mangaka to insert themselves in there work but very loosely because I feel like then they make the characters turn out to be like naruto now all of sudden naruto is some messiah for the shinobi world because kishimoto self insert so much

I'm honestly disgust by all those lgbt shippers and shippings in Naruto because they are ruining the anime even more and the shippers force their shippings. Two people of the same gender have touched or smiled at each other? GAAYYY! Disgusting pigs.

First of all a lot of straight shippers do that in naruto to some people legit wanted hinata and sasuke to be together when I don’t think they ever did talk and others still cry about how sakura and naruto didn’t get together even though she always said she only liked him as a friend so you bitching and moaning about the gay shippers just doesn’t do anything for me because your most likely a homophobe

Now I don’t tend to ship same sex characters because I’m straight but if I see there’s a connection and development between two characters I don’t really care like killua and gon or leorio and kurapika (hxh) like when people ship naruto and sasuke I cringe because I don’t believe that relationship would be any good naruto only cares for himself but if people ship suigetsu and sasuke I don’t mind

Shikamaru became an arrogant asshole during Part 2. He should've called out on by Ino and Choji.

Yes shikamaru becomes a prick in part two and he has nothing to show for it all his plans suck and they barely work it’s just because every tells him that he’s a super genius that he believe he is

I think even in the shinobi war they told shikamaru that the little earth jutsu plan wouldn’t work and he just didn’t want to listen and guess what the earth wall did nothing the bijuu blew through it

And yes choji should’ve call shikamaru out all his bullshit because if ino tried to he wouldn’t listen because she’s a girl there’s not one time where shikamaru has wowed me with his intelligence and proved to me that he’s a genius he’s just some random guy who gets praised from peers just because

Ino is such a badass and talented. It's a shame to see how she ended up just following the way Sakura went.

Honestly she is I love her character and I just hate that she couldn’t be written by another mangaka writer because kishimoto had no idea how to write her and use her kekkai genkai at all

One thing that is funny to me tho and the reason why I like ino even more is that kishimoto tries to write her or showcase her as one way but she ends up being something completely different

In the databooks she claimed to be vain or self absorbed but she’s always showed in the manga/anime that she’s caring for her friends and team and they always try to make it seems like she’s to weak for the front lines and not good enough (even though they do shaft her when it comes to jutsu’s and etc. like ino not getting used properly in the hidan and kakazu fight) but she usually holds her own plus when she does her shintenshin no jutsu she never misses and she connect the whole shinobi war’s mind together to learn that wall jutsu

which was still a stupid ass plan in the first place made no sense idk how people believe shikamaru is a genius

And when she does create a plan it tends to be super clever and work like when she cut her hair to trapped sakura in her jutsu that plan was so good that even shikamaru couldn’t get it he thought he she was crazy or when she helped choji and sakura in the chunin exams letting herself get hit and pretend to be knocked down

Even when she decided to become a medic nin she didn’t do it for attention like how sakura and hinata did she did it because she actually wanted to help her team and not be the reason why they failed missions or the reason they got hurt she wanted to help them

Ino could’ve been the most feared person in naruto due to her clan techniques but because she’s a girl and not part of the uchiha clan or naruto himself they don’t give her the proper development when it comes to her jutsu’s because how can anyone kill you in battle if there brain isn’t working?

It’s like the whole kurenai thing again when she faced off itachi with genjutsu if kishimoto stayed consistent in the way he wrote her in the data book then itachi should’ve gotten his ass handed to him but because she’s a women and kishimoto loves wanking the uchiha clan every chance he gets kurenai is the one that gets wronged

However ino still isn’t a good character writing wise like for one she has zero character development yeah she has grown to some extent but it’s not enough even with her being a side character and they make almost every female character boy crazy it’s a shame that’s what really kills ino for me but other then that I don’t have much to say because we don’t even see her enough in the series itself

Ino could’ve been a really great character if kishimoto actually tried to write girls properly especially since ino was shown to have so much potential graduating top of her class being told multiple times of how amazing of a ninja she could be etc. but it just never happens

Okay let me start off by saying that I don’t hate attack on titan and I’m caught up with the manga

Okay I believe the concept is really good ‘giant human-like things eating humans forced them into the walls and humanity is battling for there survival’ and I like certain aspects of the world building however the reason I don’t like aot is honestly mostly due to the characters and the plot

The characters are so flat it’s ridiculous especially eren he’s just some angry kid yelling about how he’s going to kill all titans and he doesn’t develop as the series goes on and all the other characters have the same problem they don’t develop much at all, honestly the most interesting character are the titans and that’s saying something because those things can’t talk

I feel like the titans are just there to be the background for the stupid drama that happens with the characters

Then in the middle of the story it seems liked they just forgot what there goal was and it took us sooooo long to get to Eren’s basement if the pay off for waiting was good I would’ve been okay with waiting but it wasn’t it was so pointless

Also I feel like the series started from “let’s fight for our lives” to “let show off how badass eren is and have him save the day” and it feels a little to shounen-y in a bad way

Honestly once eren turns into a titan the whole series goes down hill for me when they get to his father basement and realize that there’s a whole other world out there I thought the series was going to get more interesting but they drop the ball once again

If you took away all the cool action stuff and those 3D maneuver gear scenes the show has no substance it’s just a really bad melodrama with characters that are just yelling at each other

And then when we get to the marlayns and the war on the other side of the world the manga just doesn’t do it for me riener turns to a whinny idiot bitching about what he had to do in paradise and everything he’s seen and I don’t care about that war

Also I feel like the series sometimes rely to much on shock value and in the first couple of episode it was great but after that it just gets a little boring and no majors characters are every really going to die

Basically what I’m trying to say that the premise is amazing but the story itself just doesn’t do it for me it could’ve been way better but there’s nothing really outstanding about attack on titan yes the sound track is amazing and I love the animation however the series is just okay

This was so hard for me to write I didn’t know how to put my thoughts into sentences hopefully this makes sense lol

Sasuke’s ending makes me so sad. I personally don’t have a problem with him ending up with Sakura (she got tolerable and we wouldn’t have Sarada). Also Sasuke gets to protect the konoha system that killed his entire clan and hid it? what happened to the whole “what is a shinobi/clan/village” speech that Sasuke had? It seemed like actual progress was going to be made but ofc all is sunshine and rainbows for Naruto so we have to make him Hokage and disregard Sasuke’s wishes FOR ANYTHING.

You actually thought progress was going to be made? If we’re all being honest before naruto even ended we could’ve tell there weren’t going to be any radically changes for the better especially if kishimoto has all his characters that are looking for change just under this perceived notion that there in the darkness

Also since naruto’s goals changed throughout the series of course the series was going to change to accommodate him the series is about naruto if he forgets about the hyuga side branch we’re expected to if naruto suddenly likes the shinobi system now since the village likes him we’re expected to, and now that naruto is okay with genocide and children experiments were suppose okay characters like itachi and orochimaru

but the thing is Kishimoto brought up some series problems and he couldn’t just cast them aside and believe everyone would be okay with that

And I have a problem with sasuke ending up with sakura or at least the way he ended up with sakura but that’s more because I wanted more development for sakura more then anything and I don’t care for sadara she’s boring and we can just tell there going OP her so much that it’s going to be ridiculous
