Why carry the sadness of the past, it happened by the will of Allah, and nothing can change it.
Why grieve over the present, it won't stay forever, Indeed with hardship is ease.
Why be anxious about the future when it lies in the hands of Allah, The Sustainer, The Provider, The Protector, and The Creator of every aspect of existence.
“qalb 3ala qalb”- meaning telepathy between hearts, not only restrictive to romantic love, but any love at all.
“من أحبك صدقاً دعا لك سراً”
— Whoever truly loves you will make supplications for you secretly
Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:
"It was said to the people in their graves, wish (for something, they would wish for one day of Ramadan.”
[At-Tabsira, 78/2]
Who stayed with you?
- Allah
"If Allah didn't love you, He would never have let you fast the days of Ramadan and stand its nights. He only gifted you this because He wanted to forgive you.”
-Shaykh Mohammed Aslam
If you fall in love with someone because they make you laugh, what happens when you no longer find them funny?
If you fall in love with someone you find beautiful, what happens when that beauty fades?
If you fall in love with someone that can provide for you, what happens when they lose wealth?
Real love for the sake of Allah defies all reasons, and when we truly love someone for who they are, we look at their character, their manners and their deen, which is far more important than their beauty and wealth.
Ka’ab Bin Malik رضي الله عنه said:
“Whoever fasts (in the month of) Ramadan and he tells himself that once (the month of) Ramadan is over he will disobey his Rabb, then his fasts are rejected.”
[Lataif Al-Ma’Arif, 1/215]
Delay in du'a being accepted is a test in itself.
Will we have sabr? Or will we crumble and lose hope?
“Sometimes you meet someone and it's so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together. As lovers, or as friends, or as family, or as something entirely different. You just work, whether you understand one another or you're in love or you're partners in crime. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest circumstances, and they help you feel alive. I don't know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or destiny, but it definitely makes me believe in something.”
“If you can’t get someone off your mind, pray for them. You may be the only one that cares enough to do so.”
هل تستحي من أن ترفع يديك إلي ربٍّ حَيِيٍّ يستحي أن يردهما صفرًا؟
Are you shy to ask from a Lord that is shy to return you empty handed?
a powerful Dua 🤍
“What’s yours will find you”
Perhaps the only thing in between you and your du’a being answered is a sin that you have yet to correct.
