It’s not impossible but I mean, the show has ended, I’ve moved on to obsessing about other things. Got some mixed feelings about it but ultimately I wasn’t willing to put in the effort anymore.

What about statues of Founding Fathers and past presidents who were pro slavery but had other significant accomplishments? Some say that they were simply following what was accepted at the time and the comparison I use is that while eating meat is looked at as normal now, it might be viewed as barbaric in the future (slaughtering animals and such). Do you think that it's okay to use moral relativism when judging these figures or should we stand on principle and declare them evil regardless?

Do you support pulling down the statues?

I don’t think there should be statues of tyrants, slave owners, genocidal monsters etc in public spaces, some of them that are actually of historic value could be moved to a museum to be displayed with context, but like for most of the confederate ones they were erected during the Jim Crow era and the whole purpose was racism.

At least Germany got rid of all their nazi shit after 1945, rather than build more of it decades later.

Start a patreon so you can do more bookhorse.

Would have to make $4000/month to be able to replace my job. I’d expect to get about $100. So, I don’t think a Patreon would have any impact on the time I have at my disposal.

Eh, depends on if I read them and like them. In a way it’s nice to not have canon to adhere to, though.

Thoughts on the mlp series finale? I hated that Grogar was a fake out, especially how poorly handled the twist was. You can’t just make a change like that without building up to it.

I mean it’s a twist so it was supposed to be unexpected. For what it was it was well executed, but I think having Grogar for real would have been cooler. Overall I liked it, though.
