It's been months since I posted art (again) but I recently started drawing sorta regularly! I decided to finish some of these sketches out properly to post 'em, so here, have some Fowl Folk

POKECEMBER ART CHALLENGE - DAY 10: Favorite Dark-type Pokemon

Leaving Scrafty aside since I’ve drawn it already, I couldn’t pick between Mightyena and Zoroark (two AMAZING dark-types that I love for their designs), so I went with a... Mightyena with make-up and a dye job ~=w=~

AAAAAAND here’s where I throw in the towel since I fell waaay behind and there was no way in hell I could complete 20+ drawings before new year; it was a fun challenge nonetheless and I was happy to participate. Here’s to hoping I can do better in the coming year!

Granbull because I loved it even before it was turned into a Fairy, and Lurantis with a Z because (starters aside) it quickly surpassed the love I have for previous gens’ Grass-types!

My favorite Fire-types are actually starter Pokemon but I wanted to shift the spotlight away from them a little, especially with such a great Pokemon like Pyroar! Do mind: I still can’t draw snouts |D

The Ghost type has plenty of great Pokemon, but my heart’s already been taken by one that’s also an Electric-type and one that impersonates an Electric-type~

HOLY MOLY I’VE FALLEN BEHIND but anyways, I was torn between good ol’ Scrafty and newcomer Passimian, and since I couldn’t bring myself to pick just one here you got both chillin!

POKECEMBER ART CHALLENGE - DAYS 1 & 2: Favorite Ground/Psychic-type Pokemon

I thought I wasn’t gonna participate but I decided to do it anyways and see if I can complete it with what little free time I have, plus I can experiment for new ways of making simple art quickly! Later ones are gonna have more color, I promise =w=/

It was hard since these types aren’t ones I’m particularly interested about but I settled for two ground-types I really really love and Countess Dracula a cat which stood out to me among the rest of the psychic types~

It’s been a long while since I last posted art but at last, here’s a gift I made for a very good friend, @gruberv! (featuring both of his ‘sonas making art on the streets! ^^)

Mostly as a way of saying thanks for being such a great friend to me, for being so supportive with his advice and for motivating me to keep drawing while making it enjoyable; I owe him a lot (not to mention the countless times I was featured in his drawings!) and so I wanted to do something special for him for once! So, muchísimas gracias Grub!!

@pokemon-i-choose-you‘s February Art Challenge: COUNTDOWN TO POKEMON DAY

Day 14 - February 27: ANNIVERSARY ANNOUNCEMENT!!

The task for this day wasn’t specified at first, but after being informed that it was gonna be themed according to whatever was announced on that day, I chose to represent the upcoming main series games, Sun and Moon, alongside their first and so far only announced newcomer, Magearna/Magiana!

I had something else in mind for today but I wanna take my time doing it, so that’s gonna be for later ^^;

Anyways, I’ve finally completed the challenge!! I can’t believe I made it all the way to the final day, and relatively in time too! Thank you pokemon-i-choose-you for creating this challenge for all of us, and happy anniversary to the franchise that defined my life and was always present through up and downs, still standing strong to this day: POKEMON!!

Here’s to the new games, and to hopefully more years of Pokemon to come!

Day 13 - February 26: Favorite Kalos Pokemon!

This was hard because I’m still not entirely familiar with all of Kalos’ Pokemon. I was almost gonna go with Hawlucha but I had to be true to myself and went with NINJA FROG!!

Tried to play a bit with lighting on this one; it could use some reworking but all in all I’m happy with this ;w;

Day 12 - February 25: Favorite Unova Pokemon!

Double feature again! Out of the then brand-new 156 Pokemon, Mienshao is among the ones that really stood out to me; I love its design! I also included my other favorite Dewott, since I felt bad for not drawing it alongside Oshawott last week, even though Dewott IS my favorite member of the evolutionary line!

The scenario was inspired by the battle against E4 Marshal in BW, but since battles started looking more dynamic in these games I decided to try and capture that feeling with their poses and the angle used. Pretty satisfied with the results!

EDIT: fixed Mienshao’s legs since they weren’t shaded properly ^^;
