This NMP project has been a lot more challenging that i initially thought it would, i found it quite difficult initially to think of what it was i wanted to do and when i settled on my idea i was really excited and eager to get going but throughout it i was thrown a number of obstacles in my own personal life which made me fall off schedule and fall behind so it was a slow start but once i got going on it - i really worked hard and im quite happy with how it has all turned out. At first i was started to doubt whether my concept would be strong enough but the more i worked on i the more i did. Especially after emailing some bloggers and getting their feedback and a lot of them were really positive about the concept.
I've worked so hard on this project and im feeling quite positive about it so i really hope that my grade reflects that.
and with that - this project is done.
#bbloggers Hashtag
A main aspect of my brand is that it would be most advertised by bloggers/vloggers - and basically through the means of social media.
#bbloggers is a hashtag utilised by beauty bloggers to promote their blogs and posts, but its also used by brands to contact bloggers or to target bloggers and see if they would be interested in reviewing their products on their blog.
I design a package that would be sent to the blogger and the idea is that it would be quite an ugly package almost to throw them off - because it would usually be all girly and pretty but the idea is to throw them off and make it different because this idea behind this brand is different to any other.
Usually, bloggers then promote their post via #bbloggers and if they tag the brand in it they retweet it - so they are helping each other out by tweeting/retweeting because they are spreading it out amongst their followers and the people who utilise the 'bbloggers hashtag. As most of them are beauty bloggers they are more likely to be more interested in trying out the product (assuming its a good review) because new products is something that they love to try out.

I really hope this whole #bbloggers thing makes sense and ive described it okay because it took me a while to understand it all when i first started out as a beauty blogger - but its such a useful tool for beauty bloggers to have.
Poster Designs
I came up with a selection of poster designs to aid my campaign - although these would mostly be targeted at women, i wanted to keep it coherent with the concept so made the poster almost like a diagram so that it would still follow the whole making it easier for males /'breaking it down for the boys' kind of thing.
I organised a photoshoot and a good friend of mine took the photos and im really happy with how they turned out - i could visualise these in magazines or as little ads in newspapers etc...
I'll update the rest tomorrow, rather than spam it all in one go.
Lookbook
I created a lookbook to go alongside my brand, this is targeted more towards the female, not as an how-to guide but more to inspire the females on ways in which that can use the products. To create this i got some beauty bloggers to submit make up looks for it.
This would be sent out with online orders, but would also be available to download from the website, or as an app (ive designed it's own app button) so people on the go could access it aswell on their iphone/ipads.
Web Design The rest of the web pages - these are the ones that are usually at the bottam of the website.
I also put it into context by showing it on the laptop and also that it would be compatible with mobile internet.
Web Design (more in the next post)I removed the pink background and kept it simple and white and i do think it looks much better. I've also added the images and filled in all the gaps.

Similar to the concealer there is warning to the males about buying this without knowing the correct shade - getting the foundation shade wrong isnt something that they can get away with
