People really wonder why I love Twenty Øne Piløts so much.
And all I can tell them is, they helped me stay alive. When I was at my worst, when I felt alone, when I wanted to do a stupid thing their music helped me.
I don’t know them personally, I don’t need to, to be so devoted to a band that helps keep thousands of struggling people alive. Twenty Øne Piløts isn’t just a band. They are Hope.
The clique isn’t just a fan base, it’s a group of thousands to millions of people who chose to stay alive, who chose to live rather then to die, who chose to listen to music then to sit in silence.
And I am so grateful to Tyler, and to Josh, for keeping these millions of people alive with just a few minutes of songs.
Their concerts are beyond amazing, the energy in the crowd, the relationships you create. I was crying during my concert (I’m an emotional person) and these random girls hugged me and I had never felt so welcome in my life. I had never felt so safe and so wanted until that day, the day Tyler and josh saved me again.
Thank you Tyler, for the lyrics you sing, and the screams you scream, thank you Josh, for the awesome drumming and your gorgeous smile.
Thank you to Twenty Øne Piløts, for helping me stay alive, for helping me fight when I had no purpose anymore.
