Every generative artist has probably created a work using Voronoi diagrams. Today, we'll take a look at how you can create 2D voronoi diagrams with the popular Toxiclibs library for Processing.

Generative Art Heerlen
Yesterday was nice weather in Heerlen and so i am going to repeat my generative art experiments in Heerlen. I think problems outside from the bad weather where the last time that the area to paint was maybe to big. Also are many hastily people on Theaterplein and not to much wich are having time. So if the people are drawing they are doing this very fast. Cause of that reasons i repeat my experiment on Tempsplein in Heerlen. Here the people are coming to sit a few minutes and chill.
Nice Homepage wich shows different animals in 30 pieces. “IN PIECES IS AN INTERACTIVE EXHIBITION TURNED STUDY INTO 30 OF THE WORLD’S MOST INTERESTING BUT UNFORTUNATELY ENDANGERED SPECIES — THEIR SURVIVALS LAYING LITERALLY, IN PIECES.”

Generative Art Heerlen
Today people in Heerlen are getting chalk to paint the place before the Theater. They became the following instructions:
Choose a color and paint a circle along the line.
Paint a red square
Choose a color and paint a triangle.
The weather wasn’t really warm and unfortunately not a lot of people are going to draw something. Someone is painting a smurf bij one picture and a few people (most children) are following the introductions. Because mostly children are painting with chalk i thought about to a second one witch has more sense to children. Maybe with easy games like tic tac toe or others.
Waiting for nice weather in heerlen ;)
triangulate images
There are some nice tools to triangulate images. Here are some of them:

Own generative projects
After learning a lot about generative art , I want to do own projects. I want to do two different projects. One where art is manually generated and one witch is using processing.
The first project should be done by de theater in Heerlen. Here i want to give people introductions, to draw different easy things. The result should be a nice, different colored place before the theater.
Possible introductions for that project are:
Sign only triangles
Sign a red rectangle
Choose a color and paint a circle
Sign a triangle, square or circle along the line.
Choose a color and paint a dash
The second project should be done with processing. Here is the idea to generate a painting book witch is interesting for kids but also for them ouders. The paintings for the children should be edited in processing, that they also get interesting for their ouders to paint.
