He took Andre for a pretty smart guy, but you know, some dogs just really wanted to be in the middle of the action or didn't realize that those moans were because they were having a good time.

Nate grasped her hand in his as she led him up the stairs, he spared one more glance to the dog and waved at him. He'd be back for you later, Mr. Andre, if Ashley didn't kick him out immediately.

"Fear? Who said anything about fear?" Nate said puffing his chest up a little with a grin. She stepped forward and pinned him against the door and Nate would have to say it was pretty up there with one of the hotter moments of his young life.

Their mouths met and his arms slipped securely around her waist, bringing her closer up against him easily. The warmth of her body mingling with his as the heat cranked up between the two of them. She was a fucking good kisser too.

It felt like a funny choice of words. Still, he reached for some prosciutto and mimicked how Nate had done it with the cheese, plopping it into his mouth and washing it down after with more of his drink.

"Mmm... cheese and prosciutto. Really the perfect combination. I can't think of anything that blends together as perfectly as this right now."

Nate grinned, "Hey, nothing wrong with a little experimentation. Otherwise, how are you supposed to know what you like." The double meaning obviously wasn't lost on the hockey player. He was cool with whatever came out of this, he was treating Jimin to a new experience either way.

"Cheese and prosciutto is peak, for sure." He nodded, taking another big drink from his bottle and setting it aside.

He was soon reaching over to grab more cheese, "This cheese is a little spicier, has a kick to it." He popped one into his mouth and then offered another slice to the other man. "Here, try it." He let him decide if he wanted to eat it from his hand or just take it. Nate couldn't exactly judge his comfort level.

It did feel like a pretty good indicator if Andre didn't find Nate to be a threat. Usually if he did have some sort of negative reaction then Ashley didn't go much further with a hook up. She might be horny, but if an animal had a sense of something sinister, Ashley believed it was better to listen to it. "You do seem charming enough to me." And easy to talk to which was also a nice change of pace for her.

"If I did a little that's okay. I recognize my own nepotism privilege most of the time," Ashley remarked with an amused smile. The whole house to herself thing was nice for the first week maybe. But the emptiness of it all was a bit unsettling. She had half a mind to sell it sometime. If she was more sure that her mother wasn't coming back. But there was no way of knowing.

Ashley glanced at Nate and then Andre and snorted. "He knows the routine by now...mostly." Which implied that Ashley hooked up a lot, but whatever. She was allowed to do that as she pleased. "And we'll lock the door," she added. "Andre stay," she instructed her dog, gesturing to where he was before she reached for Nate's hand and gently led him up the stairs toward her bedroom. Andre huffed out a sigh and laid down at the foot of the stairs to wait.

Once she got them both in, she twisted around and locked her door. "There. Now you can have no fear about a dog jumping on the bed while we're hooking up," Ashley added with amusement, before she stepped forward, pinning him against her door so she could get this show on the road and kiss him.

"Well we'll be taking you up on that offer pretty quick," Ashley remarked with an amused little smile. Especially her dog, Andre. He was fiercely protective of Ashley, which was nice because she felt safer in this big house all by herself.

But this guy, Nate, was giving Andre some attention and she watched as her big tough dog started to relax and lean into it. "Easily won over aren't we Andre?" Ashley remarked. Not necessarily the case, but at least it was a good test of character for the guy. He didn't pose as a threat to her then.

Ashley smiled, stepping back so he could be more in the entryway. "Thank you. Not to sound overly spoiled, but my mother gave me the house." And then had traipsed off to who knows where. But that part of the story didn't matter. Ashley didn't really care about extra niceties and small talk. She mostly just wanted to get laid.

"Can I offer you something to drink or anything?" She didn't, however, forget the social norm of offering something like that. Even if Ashley just needed to let go for a minute, hook up with a hottie and move on. It always made work a lot better for her the next day.

He brought a relaxed energy which sort of made them at ease rather than coming in with all the big energy and spooking them.

"Oh believe me, you don't sound spoiled." Nate snorted, his own family's mansion tucked back in the Woods. "Sounds like kind of a dope deal though, whole house to yourself." Although, he knew that a big house with no one in it could be pretty lonely. "Unless its not and there's like sad news going on as well, which would mean I've put my foot in my mouth." He joked.

"Nah, I'm good." He patted Andre on the head, "But thanks for the offer." He finally straightened up again, pulling away from the big dog to focus more on his owner again.

His eyes glanced over the very hot doctor that he wanted to have a thorough examination from. She seemed keen on the hook up so he felt like maybe they shouldn't waste a ton of time. Why would he waste time with whatever else when he could be getting laid? Andre was the exception though. "So, should I be aware of any jealousy from him?" He teased, "One time I had a dog jump up on a bed mid hook up, he was not pleased with the position I had his owner in."

He also lifted the box of hard lemonades he'd brought. "I brought drinks to go along with it," he offered up, setting it down on a clear surface. "That looks so good," he added as he got a better look at the charcuterie board. He reached out to snatch up a small cheese cube and plopped it into his mouth. "Mmm. Yeah great choice."

Nate appreciated the compliment. Honestly, his parents mostly thought he dressed like a bum. But he was comfortable, and Jimin was right, if he looked good and felt good, who cared. "Well, you know, I appreciate it, for sure."

"Oh, sweet. Thanks, man. I didn't even think about drink options." He let out a laugh, taking two out for them and using his shirt to get a grip on them to open them up and hand one back over to Jimin.

He grabbed a cheese cube and a piece of prosciutto, wrapping the meat around it before popping it into his mouth. "Cheers, dude. To new experiences, yeah?" He winked with a grin as he tilted his bottle towards the other man's before drinking from it.

"Can't go wrong with any combination by the way, experiment, explore the board." He nodded, sitting himself next to the charcuterie board on his bed and taking another swig of the drink.

She pursed her lips, considering her stance. She'd been too light on her toes. It was instinct. In tennis, you needed to pivot, bounce, and leap. But in surfing, she had to put her heels down and sink her weight, just like Nate said.

"You calling me bottom-heavy?" she lobbed at him. But with a smile. She wasn't actually that insecure.

At least, not when it came to dudes. When it came to her mother commenting on her body, that was another thing.

"But okay-- sink down for better balance. Any other tips?" She flicked some of her wet hair over her shoulder, glancing out at the waves. She needed a good one.

"Pretty much." Kim decided not to tell Nate about her teenage crime fighting days. It might come up again one day and maybe she would know him better by then.

"I am an overachiever. It runs in the family." Kim laughed before taking another bite then adding, "Try having a neurosurgeon for a mom and rocket scientist for a dad." Kim blushed slightly when she noticed his teasing tone, she couldn't help herself especially when the guy doing the teasing was good looking.

"Maybe but I spend a lot of time with my gran watching old reruns of Law and Order when I went to her house every summer." Kim did listen to true crime podcasts and she had been a guest star on a couple that weren't that popular so knew that no one would recognise her from them.

"I do like a good true crime podcast. I like figuring out the mystery and getting to the bottom of what happened and why the killer is who it is. It's very interesting and gets me thinking about the kind of mysteries I could solve."

Nate raised his eyebrows at the whole neurosurgeon and rocket scientist thing. "Man, I thought having lawyers for parents was crazy, but no shit? That's insane." He let out a slight chuckle, "Bet things can get a little competitive then. My brother and I, well, he's kind of the more over-achiever-y of the two of us. Call it being the first born."

"A mystery is pretty cool. I like a good who-done-it. You know, Knives Out, Clue, etc. It makes you think, for sure." Nate said as he picked up his scone and took another bite out of it.

"You solve a lot of mysteries? I mean, not like big ones or murders or anything but, I bet you're like really observant. You give that vibe." He nodded with a small grin.

It was kind of a miracle that Taehyun hadn't gotten lost on the way. Typically he did, and often ended up going the wrong direction when he walked anywhere. But he didn't want to keep Nate waiting so... he had asked for directions.... several times on the way. And eventually here he was.

He stepped into the dorm building, glancing Nate up and down. "You look great by the way. Cozy really, which is making me think I should've done the same thing." But Taehyun knew he looked good in the jeans so... maybe it was still better this way. He wasn't really a shorts guy himself.

Jimin walked in and Nate gave him an appreciative glance as he mentioned his outfit.

"You look great, seriously. I dress like a bum half the time." He was aware that some thought his style was a little baggy and slovenly. But you know, he paid good money to look this chill. "Whatever makes you comfortable and confident in you, that's all.

He led them back into the hall and pushed open the door to his dorm room. Sid had been gone most of the days, he reappeared a handful of times but Nate kind of let him do his own thing and it worked out in his favor with hookups.

He motioned to the board laid out across his bed, several different kinds of meats and cheeses in different patterns and formations, grinning over at the other guy, "One charcuterie board, as promised."

It had been a minute since Ashley had invited a guy over to her place. But it felt like it was about time. She'd been antsy since it'd been a little while since her last hook up. And Nate was hot. She was really hoping he would make it worthwhile.

She'd opted for some comfortable shorts and a bra that was flattering enough on her along with an unzipped jacket. Ashley didn't really care to go for subtlety. They both knew why he was coming over anyway.

Ashley had just pulled out a bottle of wine (she figured a drink to share wouldn't hurt) when Andre alerted her to someone at the door before she could even catch the knock. Then there was the skidding of his paws as he rushed over to it. "Okay okay! Hold on there Andre!" Ashley yelled as she jogged over toward the door and gently nudged Andre back with her leg before she opened the door for him.

"Hey Nate. Come on in," she added, pushing the door aside and gently tugging Andre back. "Andre let's give him a little space huh?"

Lottie giggled throuh her brain freeze. It really was the dog gone worst! "You know you can cure it or so they say you can cure a brain freeze by sticking your tongue to the top of you mouth!" Lottie opened her mouth a little and showed how she was trying the remedy right them.

"I am not sure if it works much or..." She giggled as her tongue made her talk funny. "...or if it just distracts you from the pain!"

Setting her drink down her feet kicked out under her from the bar stool. Dancing had always come second nature to her. What she had wassn't really a talent...or at least she didn't think so. There were people who could really dance...like dance dance...Lottie knew she could find the rhythm and kind of put it all together. Then there was line dancing which was all about patterns and repetition. Plus she did it all the dang tootin time!

"I kinda just like you know the whole back and forth of it all! The moves for each song are basically the same ones just in different orders. Then sugar you know you just do the same what....10 steps over and ove rjust in a circle!" She shrugged biting her lip. "I suppose it just makes sense to me that way! I can't get right when it comes to sports but patterns.....well honey I think that might be my thing!"

Nate tried to follow, like he normally did with Lottie. Her mind was like her foot steps, sometimes he got them quickly and sometimes he totally did not understand a single thing that was going on.

He sipped on his drink as she spoke and nodded, "Sure, yeah. I can see how that might be. Me, on the other hand, I'm not much of a memorization kind of guy." Not when it didn't interest him as much as his other hobbies. Now, ask him about a rock or a climbing route he'd taken and he'd have the whole data sheet memorized.

"Guess I just gotta keep practicing huh." He laughed a bit, knowing that he wasn't really going to get all that much better about it, but it was fun all the same.

"I don't need your board. I'll get it," June shot back. It was still on the shore, after all-- just in danger of being swept back if she didn't grab it.

And look, she rented that shit. It was expensive, but replacing it if she couldn't return it was absolutely more of a bitch.

So June sloshed out of the sea, water dripping down her legs and hair. She picked up her board and then headed back into the waves. She paddled out to Nate, then sat up on the board.

"Okay, coach. Remember, my failure is your failure," June said. "So. Tell me what I need to change. If I wipe out again, you're fired." June flashed a grin.

Nate watched as June stubbornly went to go get her board. He let out a small laugh and just waited for her to get back, hanging out and kicking his feet off the sides of his board.

"Oooh, pressure's on. Well, in my humble coaching opinion," He slicked his hair back again and grinned, "Your start is good, it's when you're trying to drop in and stay in the curl that you've gotta tweak it a little."

"You need to lean a little more forward in your stance, you looked a little off balance on your back foot." He crossed his arms over himself and furrowed his brows in thought, thinking back to the way she'd handled the wave, "And you gotta use those strong ass legs of yours to sit lower so you're more balanced with your center of gravity."

Taehyun wasn't especially sure how good of an idea this was. But he had been given two different types of advice and this one seemed the less scary option. Even if he didn't have the most experience in the world with this, it didn't matter. This was better than talking to someone who wasn't remotely on the same page as him.

So he'd gone ahead and bought him and Nate some hard lemonades. They were easier to carry than some giant thing of vodka or rum or something of the sort. He snuck away from the house, figuring the others would be pretty busy anyway. Everyone was always working on something. Taehyun made sure he wore sunglasses and made himself look a little less obvious just in case.

He didn't think Dick would spot him doing something he shouldn't be, but he figured others at school also maybe didn't need to notice. Either way, it didn't take him long to get to the dorms that Nate had told him about. Once he was outside of them he pulled out his phone, texting the guy a little 'I'm here outside the dorm building! =] ' figuring then Nate could steer him to the correct dorm room.

Nate had been tidying up the dorm room. Given the fact that Sid had basically vacated the dorm to do his own thing, Nate had been living a little more chill about cleaning all the time. But he had a guest dropping by, so it was time to toss dirty clothing into the hamper like shooting buckets and get a little workout in making sure everything was tucked away before he pulled out his charcuterie board that he'd custom ordered from a shop over in NTO. So many cheeses, so many fruit and snacks and meats. A real feast, for sure.

His phone buzzed and he saw Jimin's name flash across the screen. It was time. He glanced at his reflection in the mirror a second, running a hand through his blonde strands and pushing it back from his face before he huffed out a breath and exited the dorm room to go grab the tinder date from outside.

He opened the door wide and motioned for the other man to come in, appreciating the outfit for a second as he did so, "Hey, man! Glad you found the place."

He could go on and on, and so instead of doing that, he saw the house address on his phone and pocketed it, turning the corner to walk himself down the road to the neighborhoods of Tortuga.

He wasn't surprised she lived in a house, being that his own parents were out in The Woods and technically he split his time between there and the dorms. She probably had roommates or something too. Plenty of people had that kind of situation.

Crossing into the yard, he adjusted his shirt a bit out of habit and brushed his blonde hair to the side and out of his face before he stepped up to the front door, giving it a loud knock.

She had spend a week there helping to look for a priceless artifact for a Nigerian Prince who paid for all her expenses after she managed to find the artifact under 24 hours.

"Ah, I get you." She kind of did but she also wanted to Google it to see how to eat a scone because it was going to bug her if she didn't know how. It didn't really matter in the grand schemes of things but if she could She didn't think Nate would mind if she was on her phone for a few seconds so she did a quick Google and found that some people had butter and jam with it or clotted cream and jam. Hmm... both options sounded appealing. "I'm just going to go grab some butter and jam. Sounds like that would be nice on a scone."

Kim quickly went to grab what she needed before coming back, "Sorted." She sat back down and started spreading butter and jam on her scone then laughed at Nate's antics. "No problems here. Let your weird flag fly." She took a bite of her scone and decided this was one of her new favourite treats.

"Yeah, I'm a glutton for punishment." Kim liked to be challenged and this would probably be one of her biggest - taking on two degrees at once but if she didn't think she could do it then she wouldn't. "Criminology and Law then Political Science. I've always had an interest in solving mysteries and..."

She was thinking of mentioning her crime fighting adventures in high school but she didn't know Nate all that well and she didn't want to weird him out, not that she thought what she did was weird but not everyone saw it as normal. "Never mind, lost my train of thought."
