Aloe lavranosii × shadensis

RBG Garden Manager Walker Young grew seed of Aloe lavranosii, and we had assumed the resulting plants were that species, but their flowers show that this is not the case, since they lack the hairs found on the flowers of that species. Instead, it seems to have crossed with Aloe shadensis. Both are summer-flowering and native to the Arabian Peninsula (and not often encountered in gardens).
