As Nate pulled him closer, Daniel climbed on top of the other and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “Then… I’m fine with staying in bed with you. I don’t find anything else special besides that. Call me cheesy if you want, but I’m fine with this, especially after all of the fighting we just had. This would be nice.”
Nate groaned in approval when the other one climbed on top of him, reaching for his waist as he felt the boy’s lips against his cheek. Almost automatically, the male’s hand slipped down the other’s boxers, gripping his ass as he looked at him. “It’s not cheesy-- I like this too. I’m gonna miss this when you’re gone.”
Daniel shrugged off his words and dialed the number and ordered the pizza. When getting the amount and how long it will take to get there, Daniel thanked them before hanging up. “They said they should be here in thirty to forty-five minutes,” Dan told him as he turned around to look at the other male. “What do you want to do while waiting for it?”
Nate waited while the male was talking on the phone, watching him until he turned to talk to him. He shrugged at his words. “Hmm, I don’t know.” He reached for the other’s arm, pulling him closer. “Whatever you want to do, really. We always do whatever I want. It’s your last time here, I want to make it especial.”
“Your parents arguing.” Daniel nodded at his question and pulled out his phone, punching in the number to the pizzeria that was close by. “What do you want? You still never answered that question from before. Pepperoni or something else? You have to let me know before I call, or I’ll end up ordering something really disgusting,” he joked and moved to sit on the edge of the bed while looking at Nate. “No.”
“Yeah. That’s what I’m saying.” When hearing the other’s question, Nate simply shrugged. “Pepperoni is fine, dude. My answer was ‘whatever you want’. You’re leaving tomorrow, I don’t mind eating a disgusting pizza if it’s what you want.” Nate was trying his best to be romantic, but there was only so much he would allow himself to do. Being romantic was never something he knew how to be, and he never wanted to until now. “Okay.” He watched as the other one called the pizzeria.
“It would probably be awkward if anyone came over and heard that.” Daniel grabbed his clothes that were on the floor and folded them quickly as he went into the bedroom, grabbing his bag and pulled out some clothes and replacing them with the other ones he had on. He finished drying off his body and put on his underwear and shorts before bringing the towel back into the bathroom. “Where are they now? Do you know, or do you just not pay attention, and just enjoy the quiet around the house when they’re gone?”
“Heard what?” He said as he lied down on the bed as the other walked back to the bathroom. “Are you still ordering the pizza for us?” He said as he placed his hands behind his head, watching as the other walked back to the bedroom. He shrugged when hearing his questions. “I’ve been with you the entire day. They didn’t call or text, they’re probably at some event or something. I have no idea, honestly. Do you want me to call them to know when they’re getting home?”
Daniel brushing his fingers in his wet hair, pushing it back so it was out of his eyes and off of his forehead as Nate went into his room. He raised an eyebrow at the other when hearing him speak when he got back into the bathroom. “Would they just walk into your room without knocking? It would be an interesting surprise. Have they ever caught you with someone before? Or – just by yourself?”
“Well, actually, they would. But the door was open, so they wouldn’t really have to knock.” He shrugged as he walked back inside the bathroom to dry himself with the towel. “But yeah-- You’re in the house where we take knocking only as a slight suggestion, but since they’re barely here, it’s not really a big deal.” Nate finished drying his hair and putting on an underwear before going back to the room. “Nah. I don’t bring anyone home when they’re here. That’d be a deal breaker, with them arguing all the time and whatnot.”
“I guess. So there’s no reason to be thinking about it right now, huh?” He asked, shrugging his shoulders. Once he was cleaned off, he stepped out from underneath the water so the other one could rinse off. “I’m going to go dry off.” With saying that, Daniel stepped out of the shower, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around his waist.
He shrugged. “I guess not.” Watching as the other stepped out of the shower, Nate quickly started to actually clean himself since he was too busy kissing Daniel before. A few minutes after Daniels stepped out of the shower, Nate left the bathroom, walking towards his bedroom door with a towel around his waist. He closed and locked the door before going back to the bathroom. “Just in case my parents get home.” he told him.
“Maybe. We’ll see. Or she will feel bad about missing out on my life that she will try to be acting more like a friend than a mother, and, well – that doesn’t really work out too well.” He said while groaning and rolling his eyes at the other but took the soap. “I didn’t say all showers. I meant this shower and it isn’t like I didn’t take a shower this morning. But alright, man.” Dan began to lather himself in the soap and handed it back to Nate. He stood under the water, letting the soap fall off of his body.
“We could spend hours trying to guess what she’ll do, but it won’t really matter. You just have to go with the flow.” he narrowed his eyes at his words, but couldn’t help but chuckle. “Sure, yeah. I’m sure you did.” He joked, even though he knew the other had taken a shower. When he handed the soap back to him, Nate used it to lather himself while the other one stood under the water.
“That’s different. Your parents are supposed to know everything about your life and everything you’ve been through, school life, and – everything. It’s not like you’re supposed to explain that to everyone you’re trying to date, you know? She doesn’t know anything. And you’re the only person I’ve told that I loved them, so…” Nate looked at the other when he pulled back and nodded at his words, agreeing with them. “The shower was sort of a pointless thing, huh?”
He shook his head. “You guys still have time. Don’t worry about it. You’ll get to know each other. You’ll be living together, soon you’ll be acting like mother and son. Trust me.” He shook his head when hearing the other one. “Do you think showering is pointless? That’s disgusting, Dan.” He reached for the soap and handed it to Dan. “You better clean yourself if you’re expecting to get any action tonight.”
“I’m sure there are plenty of things that could happen. And – it’s going to be hard and difficult at that chance. We barely know each other and by the time we actually know each other, I’ll probably be off to college. But – I get it. Let’s just forget about it until tomorrow.” Sliding his hands down Nate’s chest, he grabbed his hips, pulling him closer as he took a few steps back until his own back hit the wall.
He narrowed hie eyes at the boy’s words. “How long do you think we actually have to spend time together to know each other? It’s been, like, four months since I met you, and one of those months you spent pretty much the entire time in my house. I’d say we know each other pretty well.” he shook his head. “Plus, do you say you love people you barely know? Cause that doesn’t sound very healthy.” He feeling the other one hitting a wall, Nate pulled away from the kiss, but with their bodies still pressed together. “We should go to my bed.”
“What does needing you have to do with anything? I’m sure there are times where I will still need you, and just because I don’t now, doesn’t mean I don’t still want you,” Dan explained to him. When feeling Nate’s lips against his, Dan couldn’t help but to smile in the kiss and kept his hands on his chest while taking a step forward, just to close some of the space between them.
“What could possibly happen that would make you need me? Come on. You have your mom now. You have the chance to like actually have a real family.” When feeling the male stepping forward, he could help but press forward as well, the feeling of the water hitting both their heads was weird, but didn’t bother Nate. he moved one of his hands to the boy’s cheek, holding him there while he kissed him.
“Yeah… I guess you’re right.” Dan said in a whisper. He moved his hands up to Nate’s chest. “So, then tomorrow will be the last day we see each other, huh?” His eyes moved back to Nate’s face when hearing him chuckle. A small smile appeared on his lips. “Well, it’s just like how I’ll probably annoy you five more times before the night is over.”
He looked down at the boy’s hands on his chest, wondering what the boy was thinking. “I guess so, yeah. I mean, possibly. I don’t think you need me anymore.” He shrugged, tilting his head to the side with a smile. “Good point.” he said with a small laugh, closing the space between them and catching Dan’s lips with his own, his hand moving to the boy’s waist, pulling him closer.
Letting the other male move his hands from his cheeks, he nodded at his words and his eyes moved from his face to his chest. “Yeah. I guess. But at least I won’t be that far away.” Closing his eyes when feeling Nate’s lips on his forehead, he slowly shrugged his shoulders. “I’ll get over it. It isn’t the first time I’ve been mad at you and I’m sure it won’t be the last either.”
“We still won’t be seeing each other anymore. I mean, we say we will, but if we’re going to stop this, then what’s the point of seeing each other?” he chuckled when hearing his words, moving his hands to the boy’s shoulders, running it down his arms along with the water. “Wow. You have so much faith in me, it’s amazing.”
Stepping underneath the water, his eyes staying on Nate’s face as he watched him looking at his hair. “I’m going to miss you as well.” Daniel moved his hands to Nate’s chest and letting them move up to cup his cheeks. “But – it’s better than being states away like I was going to be, right? This is at least a little better – in a way.”
He felt the other’s hands on his cheeks and allowed them to stay there for a while before bringing his hand up and holding his wrist, moving them down. “It’s better because you’re going to be safe. If you had to move to a different country in order to be safe, I’d be fine with that.” He said, stepping closer to him and pressing a kiss against his forehead. “Are you still mad at me?”
Seeing Nate take his shirt off, Daniel decided to just order the pizza after the shower. Dan followed Nate into the bathroom, starting to strip out of his clothes and waiting a few minutes before stepping into the shower. He looked at the male in front of him. “I’ll order after we’re done in here.”
Nate opened his eyes and looked up when hearing the other one stepping inside. “Okay.” He stepped to his side, letting the other one under the shower. He reached for his forehead and moved his hair back when it started getting wet. “I’m going to miss you.” He admitted, looking at his hair getting wet and not his eyes.
Daniel took his bag off his shoulder, placing it against the wall beside the door along with his shoes. He raised his eyebrows when hearing him mention joining him in the shower. “I can order first and then I’ll join you. What do you want? That way after the shower, there will be food here just in case you’re hungry afterwards.”
“Whatever you want. I’m fine with anything you want, really. Like I said, not really hungry at the moment. But whatever is fine.” He took his shirt off and walked into the bathroom without closing the door. He took off his pants and underwear before stepping inside the shower, turning it on and letting the water his head and back.
“Still big enough to not shrink into one. I can promise that. It won’t happen, it’s rare when you talk about them, so again, you don’t have to worry about that.” Daniel followed behind Nate to get into the house and closed the door behind him. When hearing him call out for his mom, he looked around while still following the other through the house. “I’m fine with whatever. I’m not really that hungry, but if you want one, go ahead.”
“If you say so, I believe you.” When hearing the other male, he quickly shook his head and started walking up the stairs until he got to his bedroom. “You can leave your backpack wherever you want.” He said, sitting on the edge of the bed and taking his shoes off. “I’m not hungry right now but I might be later. I think we should order a pizza. Can you do it while I take a shower?” He asked, walking towards the bathroom before stopping abruptly. “Unless you want to join me?”
