You tell the team the new guy has talent when they ask, because you want this team to succeed because that means you succeed.

You support your family. You tell your family off for making inappropriate jokes.

You kill your brother’s abuser without hesitation.

You purposely antagonize the guy you found out has been hooking up with him because you don’t trust him. And why should you? He’s a liar and part of the fucking mob. You want to make sure your brother is safe with him.

You force yourself into therapy with someone you have never spoken a word to so you can fix the relationship with your brother.

And people only want to remember you as homophobic.
