Animal Miniature Watercolors Reveal The Beauty of Small Details
Young artist Rachel Beltz has projected her passion of art into the perfect miniature water paintings of animals and everyday objects. Barely the size of a thumbnail, these minuscule portraits and paintings embrace adorable animals frolicking and playing with each other.
What started as a set of Christmas gifts for the artist’s family turned into a recognised art series that challenged her and presented the world with beauty found in the smallest of details. Beltz’s love for this minuscule art style is contagious and charms the audience with the depth of her accuracy in the drawings.
Most of the artist’s subjects are tiny animals, depicted innocently and the adorable figure is surrounded by real flowers, plants and seeds in comparison of the size. The intricate execution of perfectly drawing with a diluted paint medium show’s the artist’s skill and steady hand her unique style of art. Find them in her Etsy shop.

I don’t want to be swallowed up by sadness and anger. it takes up so much of my time when I could be doing things like reading and going out. but even when I do read and go outside, I’m not reading, and I’m not wherever I “am.” I’m doing well but I’m not doing well.

sometimes ‘brb’ stands for ‘be ready bitch’ so you have to be careful
life is full of firsts but I’ve found that those don’t matter. what about the seconds and the twelfths and the thirty-sevenths? I don’t want to remember the first time you held me I want to remember the twentieth time you did when you tried to hold all my pieces together. Before they fell with the rain because a life full of firsts is merely beginnings ended before they have a chance. I want to count every breath we take not the first and the last but all the ones in between.

My issue, I’ve realized, is that I hope too much. I think everything is possible, when that just isn’t true. I consciously hope for things, like happiness, love, luck, and expect it to happen, when usually, it just isn’t meant to be.

She’s not you. He’s not you. The only person who is better at being you is a better version of you. So when you look at beautiful people, and wish you looked like them, when you forget to breathe while looking at art, and wish you could make something so full of wonder, when you hear a song and it becomes your safe place from the sadness that’s crushing your ribs, remember who you are. You’re you. And that’s the greatest thing you could be, without even trying.
