So today has been another 'joyful' foray into the art of customer horrors and this time it's a #Telkom store at the The Atrium in lovely Durban. Who would have thunk a Sim swap would demand the Manager (no nametag nor most of his subordinates) to STEAL my phone from my hand (read it again) as I proceeded to take his picture to share with Twitter customer service and then proceed to RUN around the mall with my stolen phone whilst fiddling to delete set pic with it perceivably damaged (and pursuing this guy as a large man was NOT fun) and then be illegally locked in the store whilst the Regional Manager and the rest of set store's subordinates collude to portray me as a 'tyrant'. Well it backfired and you can run and duck, but you can't hide! I could have been an elderly woman whom this guy wouldn't even think twice of snatching a phone and making up a story. Nonetheless, I've filed a CRIMINAL complaint with the SAPS (though I have to say they were professional and seriously perturbed by the level of machination at play at this store) #Share
