not to be a geek but naruto is such a good representation of a child w a learning disability and how the school system neglects them

naruto:

is treated like an outcast by his peers for no apparent reason from his perspective

despite trying really hard in school his teachers assume hes goofing off and not giving his all

responds to this by pretending that his genuine attempts are jokes and becomes the class clown

actually literally does have physical barriers that prevent him from learning in the same way. ie the nine tail foxes huge storage of chakra fucks up his ability to control this and his teachers KNOW this but offer him NO solutions

responds well to positive reinforcement and extra attention

has trouble with verbal or written direction and prefers to learn things through doing

responds best to directions given to him when they relate it to an emotional response or one of his interests (ie ramen or sasuke)

compensates for his inability to do tasks his classmates cant by finding work arounds of it such as using his shadow clones jutsu in new and creative ways
