assorted random observations about these couple of seconds of group panic:

1) arada had just been standing and she throws herself back down on the bench to scooch back against the metal pole, pin-lee grabs her for security, gurathin goes completely still and roots to the spot with his hands clenched and does not move his feet for the next minute, ratthi gets up from where he had been sitting to go huddle with gura, and mensah moves back away from the door but still stays a little bit in front of the guys.

2) spoused as hell. cutes.

3) I think what's going on here is that ratthi was trying to hold his hand but gura. just. doesn't quite seem to know how to do that. he missed out on the "recognizing hand-holding initiation body language" lesson of the preservation culture 101 program, he was sick that day, he doesn't know what that is. so instead ratthi just kind of had a hand wrapped around the outside of his fist while gurathin 🧍-ed.
