Hello hello! Welcome to my page!

I’ve come back to Tumblr after a years-long break from when all the naughty bits got banned. Feel free to refer to me (the OP) as Madi, but the real star of the show is my WoL, Nazarene Forge (Nazarene Klein in-game).

Some things to note:

I am an adult well into my late twenties. Don’t be surprised if you find the occasional adult-themed post/reblog, but I’ll try to be mindful of tags.

This is not an RP or in-character blog. I may post lore, headcanons, and maybe some original written works about Nazarene, but I do not intend to post/write from Nazarene’s POV on this blog.

I will do my best to tag spoilers as “ffxiv spoils”, but I do tend to be a reblog fiend and I’m still relearning how to use Tumblr regularly, so it’ll be a struggle. Text spoilers and screenshots will be put under ‘Read More’.

I will not exclusively post/reblog FFXIV content. I like a lot of other stuff including Pokemon, Danganronpa, various musical artists, etc etc. Again, I’ll try to tag non-FFXIV stuff since I know some users like to filter that stuff out, but no solid guarantees.

I’m working on proper pages to provide details about Nazarene (I’ll update this post with links when that’s done), but if you ever want to ask a question about her, feel free! :)

we can have discussions about autism and ableism and how society sees us without spreading misinformation.

autism is a lifelong, often debilitating neurodevelopmental and genetic disorder that affects how one communicates and interacts with the world. it is not “just being socially awkward” or “social anxiety.” it is a neurological disability. start treating it like one.

For others, autism is genuinely crippling and they will never be able to live independently or hold a job. I think this whole trait/identity approach to autism is really just leading into the “good disabled” versus “bad disabled” dichotomy that society ultimately categorizes us into. Talking about autism as if it’s just some kind of behavioral quirk has people categorize those of us who face significant struggles as being “the bad disabled.” People wanna act like it’s a trait they accept, until they’re actually interacting with someone autistic & treat you like shit if you display your symptoms.
