I do love reading i just read SLOWLY 😭😭😭 pls tencent have some sort of rewind system bc ik im gonna be missing out on lore terribly when I get busy 😭😭 not like lbc where i can infer some of it lolll (although sometimes im wrong- like in the steam punk era I cant guess half the things)

But imo correct me if im wrong if I think lbc is totally fine and wonderful i think l&n is gonna be ok its not that far off

We too have times where some are sacrificing innocent people for the state of the world (most iconic might be empire lars- hated that bish but honestly it got me intrigued as to what they feed these empire li bruh)

Also apparently WAR . Its cruel inherently. Its also human. And also makes for some stories theres literally war genres lol.

These players may not have read stories that creatively critique gender norms and patriarchy- giving women strengths to fight unique battles, creating complexity within love interests who are fighting for what they believe is right, creating situations that challenge your sense of morality- thats all part of the storytelling. You may or may not agree- for example in lbc i think i personally wouldnt fall in love wirh cael if i were little painter because i personally would not date a very alien whos a few years junior of my mom (even if i were to be half alien myself) who took care of me since childhood- even if you find yourself to be a perfectly capable adult, i would need someone closer to ghe human side and closer in maturity since little painters matures way closer to human than to alien. I think cael's species have different morals (even depending on the place they were born at and if they had become a part of the empire) and theres a certain point where their maturity simply stalls to somewhere between that of a young adult human and a middle aged human, but you only create that type of analysis by engaging with these texts and scenarios. Reminder that you dont have to like everything about the LIs, but if the fantasy war genre creates too many uncomfortable situations its okay to sit yourself out

Chinese media like lbc (and what i heard, l&n as well) love giving au and morally grey troupes. Lars is an investor and isnt a student while little painter is, cael is little painter's caretaker. I do appreciate how cael treats little painter with so much respect later tho :D I was reading journey and I was like oh! Respectful man, so caring still. Anyway. In godheim lars literally plans to sacrifice everybory to bring some to a new world. Cael literally exterminated worlds. Clarence literally helped lars (in most routes). In the new steam punk, ayn literally traps little painter in a dream and chases her down with crows every so often, kidnaps companions, and makes her choose between lars and her memory. I forgot what it wa called but after demorteim alkaid has his garden and controls everything. I forgot by now (i can refresh my memory later) bur he lurerally could extract resources from other worlds I think. I think it was eden??. In spirit world ayn is in charge of dead wolves and one of the two lars stabs his brother to take the place as the sun god or smth. Some people die under ayns command in eden. Im missing stuff gor sure. But in any case there are so many themes that would prob send a bunch of ppl into a coma

So basically i agree if you cant handle this then maaaaybe stop looking for chinese games 😭😭😭 plenty of good games that just focus on romance without these troupes....
