hello and welcome to nbships! this is a selfshipping blog started up by 4 trans friends to cultivate a space for fellow trans and otherwise LGBT self-shippers, since the community is so centric on cishet girls. this is our pinned/introductory post; be sure to read our carrd as well!

we’ll do some small introductions under the cut to welcome you to the blog!

💛 mod fox: hi! i’m the one who came up with the idea and got the url for this blog. i’m 20 years old and nonbinary. i’ve sort of always done self-shipping but i was never personally invested in the community at large until recently! we (the mods) were talking about our exasperation with how f!reader is nearly always assumed when it comes to reader-insert fics and had the idea to start our own blog for lgbt and nb selfshippers.

im in charge of anything theme-based, for the tumblr blog and the carrd. if anything needs changing with those it’s most likely i’ll have to do it! i’ll be alerted to anything that needs to be updated, but it could take a little while for me to actually get to it.

🤍 mod wolf: Hey! I'm Mod Wolf. I'm a 19 year old gay transman. I've been selfshipping for about 9 years, but I've only been in the community for a little over a year. I'm happy to be here and give back to a community that I enjoy being a part of!
