Once Again, I Am Saying: if you write smut with or as characters who are canonically underaged, whether you have a specific verse where you’ve aged them up or not, Do Not Follow Me. I am Not comfortable interacting with you. Making a separate aged up verse to write smut with your canonically underaged character strikes me as gross. Xehanort, for a long time, considered himself untethered. Unchained. Immune to the bonds that seemed to tie others to one another, to family and friends and community and even their world of origin. His first connection like this was to Eraqus, something that happened when Xehanort was young still, and something that would follow him through much of his life, something he was unable to escape from. Not that he wanted to at first. At first, she was even so elated with the prospect of her first meaningful connection that she took Eraqus to the Destiny Islands. A short lived trip but a meaningful one none the less, where a paopu fruit was shared and their hearts bonded together.

He didn’t come to think of this bond as any sort of chain until much later. When he did, when he realized that the bond was weighing him down and keeping him from what need to be done, he was still reluctant to sever the tie. To free himself of the chains that he had imposed upon himself so long ago. When Eraqus turned his keyblade on him, while his back was turned no less, the bolt cutters needed to come out.
