Rose was beyond bored. She knew no one in this city, or on this planet even. At least as far as she could tell. All she wanted was to find her parents- the real ones that she now remembered and had been promised. She was certain her little brother was out there somewhere too. But for the moment, the redhead was on the outskirts of the city, soccer ball bouncing from knee to knee as she ran drills on her own. She was beyond thankful she never want anywhere without it, and imagined that was one of the reasons it had been in her trunk. Seeing someone not to far off, she snatched the ball out of the air mid bounce. “You play?” She called gesturing with a tilt of her head to the ball in her hands.

Rose had been promised her family. The redhead had searched high and low for them since arriving on the strange planet. Truthfully, she wanted her parents the most, and her younger brother. But any of the weasleys or potters would have been accepted into her arms the moment she saw them. That’s when she saw the other- red hair, freckles, younger than she should have been, much younger, but still recognizable. “Aunt Ginny!” She called, racing recklessly across the street and throwing her arms around the other woman without a second thought.

The blonde wasn’t happy. Sure, the landscape was beautiful, the town was quiet, but she was miserable. Her family was still missing, her senses, they weren’t what they usually were. Her eyesight wasn’t as sharp, sense of smell was weak, even her hearing seemed to have been dampened. She felt... almost human. That was an idea that thrilled her. But it wasn’t something could fully enjoy here. Not without emmett, not without her family. She did think about those other than herself sometimes at all. Snapping at the stranger next to her, her countenance was stiff. “Where the hell are we?”

Being on a different planet entirely was the last thing Rosalie expected to happen after finding her way to Woodshore. She had been turned into a vampire, met ‘vampire royalty’, dealt with werewolves, had a hybrid niece, but this- this was almost too much. Jaw set in a firm line as she wondered around the city, her look was clear ‘don’t mess with me’. Her heels clicking against the pavement where the only familiar sound around her and she focused on it intently. Seeing other people seemingly enjoying themselves, the vampire mumbled sarcastically to no one in particular. “Yes, lets just all pretend this is completely normal.”

Rose had mental whiplash. She had been in Woodshore for less than a day and now she was in some world that was seemingly stranger than her own. There was no denying it was beautiful. The city itself was quiet, with nothing particularly exciting happening. She wondered if there was a place to kick her ball around. She had been a talented soccer player in that other life and she still enjoyed the immensely. Often practicing off walls when there was no one to practice with. Seeing someone across the street, the redhead crossed over with a smile. “Pardon me, have you seen a Ron or Hermione Weasley?” @woodshorestarters​

It was a very rare day for Estelle in which she was actually sitting down and writing. She loved writing, it was what she wanted to do and what she wanted to be... just like her mother. But with the two sets of conflicting memories in her head, the young brunette had found it hard to focus. However, on her 30th possible hour of no sleep and three Red Bull’s in, she was finally finding the muse rather naturally. Of course, that didn’t mean it would make any sense to her when she finally work up from the 20 hour slumber she knew she would find in another 24 hours or so. “Does the sentence- ‘he set the world alight in an attempt to set it free’ make sense or am I losing it a little?” @woodshorestarters

Charlie frowned instantly at that. She could understand the sentiment. When she had first come to Woodshore, she was almost certain she had never been lonelier. Of course, she had finally found Pacey, but they had their memories to work through back then. Even with how much she loved her boyfriend. Her memories of something else had been too much at first. “I’ve found sugar is often the cure to everything.” The trauma surgeon offered with a soft, comforting smile. “Why don’t I bake you something? You can talk to me all you want while I do.”

“i was thinking about the labor of life,” louis said, though he couldn’t quite say why he felt so compelled to say this to a stranger. “how depressing it can be. to feel like you’re on the precipice of something great, but then there’s… nothing there. and i thought…” he let out a small breath of a laugh, making a small motion. “what would the point be, then, of life at all? it’s nihilistic, isn’t it? depressing, in ways, but… i’m not sure the evolutionists would agree.”

Astoria’s eyebrow quirked upwards as the other spoke. It was a curious thing to tell a stranger, but she was more than willing to listen. Resting her sketchbook in her lap, she fiddled with the cap of her pen. It wasn’t so much out of impatience as it was a bad habit. She found herself always needing to have something in her hands while listening. “Do you normally introduce yourself to someone by questioning what it means to live?” The tiny witch mused with a lighthearted giggle. Resting a hand on her stomach ( a habit she had developed since discovering she was pregnant ), Rory hummed in thought. “I can’t say I’ve ever allowed myself that view point. And believe me, I had many reasons to believe life was meaningless. However, I found comfort in my artwork and poetry. Always finding some reason no matter how small to keep going. Would you propose a better viewpoint on life?”

the article that had been printed in the newspaper was absolutely scandalous, and malcolm was fascinated with reading through it. murder was one of the few things that he found an odd sense of homeliness in – his life had been dedicated to solving them, after all. but whoever was responsible for those in woodshore was all over the place. he took a long, slow sip from his coffee as he set down the paper. “well, as common as murder is… that’s not something that you read about every day.”

Marlene’s brow quirked as she looked up from her phone. ‘As common as murder is’... flashbacks to the last night in her real life came back to her like a tidal wave but she did her best to cover over the sudden rush of emotion. She was fucking Marlene McKinnon for merlin’s sake. She didn’t have panic attacks in front of strangers. Not that telling herself that did anything to ease the way her hands shook and she nearly dropped the phone in her grasp. “Murder is a-“ she cleared her throat. “Murder’s common here? What makes this one so special?”

KLAUS wasn’t sure if the person sitting next to him was listening to him at all but klaus didn’t care. at least he could pretend that they were. “seriously, i think i would know if my room was haunted. like, bitch please,” he continued and snorted. “why, you ask? you see,  i was born with a terrible gift that allows me to speak to the dead. it’s no big deal, really.” klaus waved his hand dismissively and paused to sip his orange juice. “you know, actually, there’s a ghost floating behind you right now.” he half-joked.

“Klaus, language.” Allison would recognize her brother anywhere, so even if she hadn’t previously known he was in town, she knew it was him. Claire on her hip, she made her way towards the seance in question. She had never really liked their ‘superhero’ names as kids. In all honestly, she thought they were pretty ridiculous. Diego’s worse than the others, but she brushed the thought aside with a roll of her eyes. Looking over at the person beside her brother, she sighed sympathetically. “Would you stop scaring the poor innocent bystander?” Sitting across as she set Claire on the chair beside her, she raised her eyebrow at him. “Why didn’t you tell me you were in town?”

Rajah bounded down the street beside the dark haired woman as she made her way towards the resort. She had stopped by the store to grab of few groceries for the dinner was planning to cook. The tiger as per usual, refused to stay in the room by himself. “Down boy.” She laughed as her tried to see what was in the bag she was carrying. He ran a short way in front of, playing in the grass, causing jasmine to shake her head. However, she gasped slightly when she noticed him careening towards a total stranger. “Rajah, stop!” She called quickly, causing the large tiger to stop and sit down right where he was. Peering over his shoulder at her curiously. “I promise, he’s entirely harmless!” @woodshorestarters

       IT TOOK HER A MOMENT, but once her eyes settled upon the whereabouts of her phone myrcella realised that the animal which nudged it forward was not the usual creature you would see upon a street, not in either of her lives, and she froze to the spot with caution mixed curiosity. “ … thank you. ” trying to not stare at the tiger, myrcella dragged her gaze back to the woman and offered a gentle smile with her thanks. “ i find the sea air calms me, reminds me of home, and helps me to rest better - i’m sorry, but is that a TIGER? ”

The woman’s reaction to the tiger didn’t really surprise jasmine at all. It was the same response she had received from almost everyone in Woodshore. Well, the other one being panicked screaming as the person ran in the other direction while rajah watched them in confusion. “We didn’t have many seas like this where I’m from. But we had plenty of desert.” The words fell from her lips with a soft laugh. Her question caused the sultana to grow a bit more serious, not out of anger but in a sympathetic manner. The tiger in question nudged against her leg with his head before he stretched himself out on the ground. “Oh- yes. This is rajah. He’s been by myself side ever since I was a little girl. Saved him from a Circus actually. I promise you, he’s harmless.”

her arms were folded in front of her chest although she remained relatively relaxed, but her fingers tap restlessly along her arm. april would never have any ill will toward others, stranger or not, and a slow night in the emergency room theoretically meant that the town was having a good night. still, it was hard to lurk around the e.r. without anything meaningful to do. supply orders weren’t fulfilling. “i was working in seattle before here. running a level one trauma center to a small town is… a lot.”

“New York.” Charlie responded with a understanding nod. The place she had worked in both her fake life and her real one. Though, even her fake life now seemed slow compared to the real thing. She guessed coming from a world of superheroes would do that. Flashing a smile to pushing Doctor, she sighed and leaned against the counter. “It’s not that I want something to happen to someone, I just want something to do. Before this, I was treating patients who were attacked by aliens and vindictive gods.”

Staring at the brochure for sky-diving, Alex wasn’t really seeing it. It’d made him think of Wolf at first, of a single kick in the backside that had changed things. Not entirely pleasant, remembering his training, and why he’d needed training, but it was better than the memory that had followed. Mr Grin, the plane, London stretched out beneath him - no matter how mesmerising it’d been, the fact was that the memories were too raw to be enjoyable. 

Feeling someone stand next to him, he took the brochure with deft fingers that could pick a lock. “Been a long time since I went sky-diving.” At least in this life. But in his other - he wasn’t sure. Missing over half of his life left him with a lot of questions. “Wouldn’t mind trying it again, seeing if it’s still as fun as I remember.” Or more accurately, if it was fun like he suspected it’d be without the fear of someone trying to kill him.

Marlene stood looking over her brother’s shoulder ( as best she could ), rolling her eyes when he didn’t even bother to look up. Even if she now knew they weren’t actually related, they had a whole life’s worth of memories as siblings. She wasn’t about to stop acting like his little sister now. Raising a brow as he spoke, her attitude was clear on her features. Not a day went by that she didn’t at least give a little bit to both of her brothers. Fingers moving quickly, she went to snatch the brochure from his hands. ‘Ever the annoying little sister, Marlene’ she heard the scorn in the back of her mind, but she ignored it anyway.

“You mean to tell me, you weren’t always entirely lame?” She sassed, a broad smirk on her features as she finally spoke up. Tucking a wild piece of a dark hair behind her ear ( a side effect of her rebellious rocker phase she never quite grew out of ), she did her best to put on the signature ‘no fucks given’ Marlene McKinnon smirk she usually wore. Her leather jacket still smelled like beer and cigarette smoke from her job at the bar, her eyeliner was still smudged, her jeans still ripped to shreds. Everything in looks was still the Marlene from before coming to Woodshore. But she wasn’t the same Marlene. If you looked, you could see it in her eyes. The memories on repeat in her mind.

Sleeves of the mechanics jumpsuit tied around her waist, the white sweat soaked tank top clung for her skin. A greased covered hand to swipe across her forehead, leaving a black streak on the skin. Standing up from under the hood of the 1969 Ford Mustang when she heard footsteps coming up behind, Kasey tossed the wrench back in her toolkit before turning around.
