     She’s pissed. Beyond pissed truly. She went on vacation for not even 10 days. 10 DAYS! & her boyfriend of MANY of years cheated on her with Clarke. Once she found out she honestly gave a flew blows to Murphy as if it was his fault, leaving him a nice shiner to prove it. After her anger had calmed down enough she apologized, but as Murphy is, he just made some sly sarcastic comment and they went on with their night which lead them here. In a parking lot, with a pissed off slightly tipsy Raven trying to back up without hitting the light pole.

“ You’re not driving my car, Murphy. I don’t know how many times I’ve repeated this to you. Just — shut up for a second & let me fucking concentrate. ” But asking Murphy to shut up was like asking a monkey to not eat a banana, or a dog not to chase it’s own tail. Her mahogany hues finally drifted shut to relax herself, taking in a few deep breaths before opening & instantly reversing out of the crammed parking space so that they can get back on the road. 

They made a pack earlier in the night, to not talk about their issues, not unless they were in some run down bar in the middle of nowhere drunk off their asses & actually getting along. She glared over at him before finally peeling out of the parking lot & making her way to the freeway again. “ Never judge my driving again. Or I’ll kick you out on the side of the free way when we hit AREA 51 & let the damn aliens take you back home. “

But I swear to God, if I have to spend a night in jail with you... " spoke Murphy, pursing his lips for a second before turning his head to look at her. He was all sarcasm and sassy comments. It was exactly what got him HERE in the first place. With Raven Reyes. " I'm just saying. If you hit that pole, it's on you. " he stated, putting up his hands before leaning over to put the music on.

And in a mere moment, the car is suddenly reversing out of the parking space, causing him to give a light 'oomf' in surprise at the sudden action, venom lacing his tongue already as he looked to her, ready to lash out. Though with some difficulty, he swallowed down said venom, slowly dipping down his head in a nod. Hey, she got them OUT. Had to give her at least a bit of credit for that. Not out loud, however. Just with a simple LOOK. That should suffice.

" Raven. I'm judging every little fucking thing. " muttered the teen finally with a snort, rubbing just under his nose as he leaned back and stared out of the window. A chance to GET AWAY from everything. Everything safe for a certain brunette but he could DEAL with that. Atleast she was easier to deal with than his own MOTHER. " Couldn't kick me out if you fucking tried. I would've clung onto your car, you'd be fucking pulled over or you'd be arrested for bringing harm upon me if I fly off it. An unusual pair of friends? Frenemies? Frenemies. Raven Reyes and Jonathan Murphy. One had to deal with a cheating boyfriend, the other had to deal with a drunk mother who blamed him for everything. Both decided enough was enough. It was one drunk night, really. She ranted, he admittedly eventually did too. They decided both of them h a t e d being here. Gathered the little money they had saved up and decided to hightail it out of here.

Murphy had always been around, that constant presence. One you couldn’t help but want to PUNCH sometimes. Raven often tried such, they at times came to blows but they still tolerated one another. Murphy KNEW Finn. He also knew Clarke. And well, shit situation turned into a shit storm.
