rewind (korean: 되감기) was the fourth sub-unit of the co-ed group nct. the sub-unit consisted of nine members: rosy, clara, mae, emiko, danbi, julie, dolly, meizhen, emma. the group debuted on october 21, 2016 under sm entertainment. the group officially departed from the agency and nct as a whole on may 22, 2023, following the expiration of their contracts. the group has re-signed under moon studios.

STORY \\ The song describes a woman seducing her partner by wearing a black dress, hence the title. Throughout the mv, we see themes of innocence and seduction, as well as the contrast between masculinity and femininity.
Clara and Florence owned this era; Clara due to her powerful dance break after the first chorus, and Florence because of her unexpected pole dancing scene towards the end of the music video.
Black Dress was a strong debut for the girls, but unfortunately it got no wins.
