Eden blew on the hot ramen for a split second before ultimately taking a big bite and burning her tongue. She whined, setting the cup down and fanning her tongue.
“Hot?” The male snickered, blowing on his food as well, enough for it to be a good temperature to eat.
“Please, it should be warm enough given how cold it is outside.” She shrugged, wiping her mouth with a napkin and sticking her hands back into her coat pockets.
“Yeah, I apologize, it’s not ideal but we can’t really go anywhere without people seeing us”
“I should apologize too. I’ve always been a physical person, I hate texting and talking on the phone unless completely necessary” She shook her head, watching Jimin eat his ramen so effortlessly, “It doesn’t feel real unless you’re physically right in from of me”
He raised his eyebrows, curving his mouth, and nodding his head. “Interesting.”
Eden sighed, “My mind wanders to weird places when I’m alone. It’s something I need to work on.”
All he could do was simply nod his head, assuming that he was bored of her chatter. “Sorry, It’s hard to explain, even harder to understand myself.”
“No, I’m also trying to analyze it,” He waved his hand, gently brushing his fingers against her hand for a split second.
“It truly exists only as long as it is observed,” She couldn't process what she was saying fast enough, “That probably didn’t make sense at all, it just comes out.”
“Not initially, but it does get the mind pacing. It could be a potential debate topic.”
“Well,” She grinned softly, “at least you’re trying to understand. Chaeyoung looks at me like I’m crazy.” Shaking her head, she takes a bite of her food that had cooled down when they were talking.
“Not crazy either, you just have a lot of thoughts that need to get written down.”
“Now you’re just telling me what I wanna hear,” Eden rolled her eyes, kicking him under the table.
Jimin scoffed, quickly finishing the last bite of his meal and setting it down.
“I should’ve been an author.”
“Or a shrink,”
“No, Jimin. I can’t even work through my own problems.”
He shook his head, tapping her bowl of ramen. “Finish yours, I wanna show you something”
She raised her eyebrows, slurping the rest of her food in no time.
“Where are you taking me?” The woman followed closely behind him, trying her best to keep up with how fast he was walking.
“Jimin?”
“It’s just a place!” He acknowledged her, putting the hood of his coat on his head.
“Well obviously, where though?”
“You will see when we get there.”
Eden felt uncertain. For one, it was already too late for either of them to be out. But she felt a different type of adrenaline while following him to the secret place. It had been years since she wandered in a park after curfew.
“Okay,” He stopped in his tracks, grabbing her shoulders and guiding her to sit down on a bench.
She studied her surroundings, the streetlight the only thing lighting up their way aside from the city glowing in the backdrop. The harsh yet somehow calming sound of the river made all that walking worth it.
“The river?” She scoffed, furrowing her eyebrows while looking up at him.
He nodded, taking a seat next to her and stuffing his hands in the pocket of his coat. She watched his gaze as he admired the scenery.
“So this is your calm space?” She grinned, hoping he wouldn’t face her so she could continue studying his features.
“One of them,” His warm breath condensed in the air as he exhaled sharply. “I was hoping those meditation apps of yours could at least be substituted for the real thing.”
“Were you on my phone?” She shuffled through her coat to one of the inside pockets.
“You were vague about it on the phone,” He chuckled while watching her panic, “Might as well try to share something of mine with you.”
“How thoughtful,” She whispered under her breath, smiling as her bones stiffened due to the cold air.
A quick gust of wind blew in their direction, causing a shiver down her spine. The cold steel of the bench did not help at all as she was freezing her butt off.
“I’m sorry for taking you out on the coldest night this week,” He took her coat hood off her shoulders and placed it atop her head. “Come closer.” He motioned his hand, scooting over a tad and making room for her.
Clenching her jaw, she obeyed, trying to be as close to him as possible. He wrapped her up, hoping the confined space would warm her up.
“Hot cider or chocolate would make this moment perfect.” Her teeth chattered, only realizing what she was thinking in her mind came out of her mouth. She could feel the second-hand embarrassment creeping up on her.
“I said that out loud didn’t I?” She rested her cheek on his shoulder, the fleece chilling her even more.
“Yes, but it’s okay” He snickered to himself.
Bringing her hands out of her pockets, she cuffed them together, trying to warm herself up.
“Here,” Jimin repeated her same actions, rubbing his hands together and placing them on her cheeks for a second. He continued patting her fluffy cheeks, giggling to himself as she kept her focus on him.
Grabbing her hands that were placed in her lap, he held them in his, sharing his own warmth by puffing his breath. The heat rose to her cheeks, the chill fading away realizing how intense this was.
She found herself analyzing everything in detail. His pores, the scar on his eyelid. At the most inappropriate time, her sister popped into her head.
“Can’t you do it?” Eden cried, standing on her bed as there was a bug trotting on the wall.
“No, Eden, you have to learn to do these things by yourself” She yelled back, the two didn’t bother to tell either of their parents. They would just laugh it off like they were making it all up.
“It is a mind over matter scenario, you just have to count, and then do it.”
“Then count me down!”
She chuckled to herself before leaning into Jimin and placing her lips on his. His lips curled into a smile, his hand sneaking its way behind her neck and rubbing her cheek with the pad of his thumb. As both of their lungs gave out, they parted, their warm breath in each other’s face.
“Are you still cold?” Jimin whispers, patting her bottom lip with his thumb.
“Internally? No. Physically? Yes” Her hand entangled with his, going in for another kiss.
She was way too distracted with how attractive his lips were, like a magnet. They were so plump and restricted herself the best she could.
“I need to get you home before you get frostbite.” He chuckled, giving her a peck on the forehead.
Eden nodded, her mind began racing again like before, wondering if he enjoyed it or not.
“Hot chocolate and cider?” She pursed her lips, holding herself and he got up from the bench and stretched.

The song recieved four music show wins.
Ever since a bit of the song leaked earlier on in the year the release was highly anticipated and it did not disappoint.
— ERA HIGHLIGHTS
BLACK ROSE’s first proper comeback with Yuna as a new member! Everyone was so excited to promote with her!
Yuna did not disappoint, she even revealed that she came up with a lot of ideas for the makeup and outfits.
Sera helped produce “HUSH”, “No Rush” and “Don’t Text Me” whereas Hyebin has writing credits on almost all the songs.
In typical SM fashion, the song was leaked with a very blurry dance practice video and their names tagged on their chests.
A good chunk of the fandom was split between those who had seen the leaked part of the song and does who didn’t and it was a shit show before the song came out.
At first Rosettes was super focused on fighting each other and then quickly sorted themselves out when they realised they had to stream.
Aejung’s fancam from their Music Bank comeback stage went viral, fans noticing how much her dancing improved and how easily she shed her innocent persona.
In fact, BLACK ROSE earned a lot of new fans from this fancam and it got up to 5 million views on Youtube alone.
Juliet and Aejung uploaded a picture of them with Lyra onto the BLACK ROSE instagram page and Rosettes went crazy.
Overall one of their best eras, everyone looked good, the songs charted well and the fanbase had grown to ten times the size it was last year.

Lots of white and silk, this era was very ethereal in terms of fashion and aesthetics.

The girl’s makeup was all pastel blues and pinks with pearls and dashes of glitter, they all looked so pretty during this comeback.

It was pretty late at night as Angel made her way into one of the empty practice rooms. There were very little staff members there, aside from the friendly old security guard. She just needed to be by herself.
With the news of a comeback being brought to light, the group felt pressured to carry the momentum they took from RTK. On top of that pressure, Angel was also feeling some doubt. In fact, Angel was feeling insecure.
She let out a sigh as she pulled her phone out, plopping down on the wood floor as she leaned against the wall. Angel unlocked her phone as she went to various social media sights, reading the different comments. Ugly, fat, worthless, talentless. All things used to describe her. Angel didn’t understand. Why was it always her that was the target for unnecessary scrutiny? What did she do wrong?
Angel read over each and every hateful comment that was written about her, sometimes even screenshotting the insanely nasty ones. She just couldn’t stop herself. If reading hate comments was a drug, then she was the addict. This would be one habit the boys would never be able to break her from. Angel sat on the floor till her bottom went numb, even then she stayed seated. She never let her eyes leave the screen of her phone as the door opened.
“Noona,” Angel heard from behind her as she lifted her head.
She wiped away at her face before turning to look at Sunwoo. He tilted his head, studying the girl's face as he closed the door behind him. Slowly walking towards Angel, Sunwoo sat down as he spoke.
“What are you doing here so late?” Sunwoo asked.
Angel snorted. “Says the one the came after me.”
Sunwoo smiled as he watched Angel continue to scroll through her phone. She is usually very aware of her surroundings. She never just shoved her head into her phone.
Sunwoo cleared his throat. “Anything interesting on there?”
Angel shrugged without speaking. The young boy frowned as he looked around the empty practice room. Angel had been very quiet since the news of the group making a comeback had been announced, quieter than usual that is.
“Hey,” Sunwoo said, making the girl look at him. “What’s wrong?”
Angel kept her head down, fiddling with the strings of the oversized hoodie she was wearing. A wet drop landed on a tiny patch of the hoodie, darkening the material as she spoke.
“I’m just tired,” She breathed out shakily. “I’m just so tired.”
Sunwoo stayed quiet as she continued.
“I don’t get it. What did I do wrong? What do I continue to do that’s wrong? Nothing I ever do is right. I just can’t seem to get anything right. Maybe what all these people say about me is correct.” Angel said through quiet tears.
“I, I don’t understand. Did someone hurt you?” Sunwoo asked worriedly.
Angel practically threw her phone at the boy as he caught it before it could hit him. He scrolled through the various social media apps she had open and felt his heart break at the comments. Just relentlessly coming after the way she looked, to the way she talked, to the way she acted. Some talked about her family, others stayed strictly on her and called her names Sunwoo wouldn’t have used on his worst enemy.
Sunwoo felt himself tear up at the comments before looking at the girl. “Why are you reading these?”
She shrugged. “I couldn’t help it. It was just eating at me. I don’t know why, but I just want to be able to please everyone.”
“But you can’t please everyone! Angel, you can’t please everyone. You weren’t put on this Earth to please everyone. You please yourself, your family, the fans, and us. That should be enough.” Sunwoo told her.
Angel sniffled. The boy moved closer to her as he wrapped his arms tightly around the girl. He moved his hand up and down her back in a soothing motion as he spoke softly into the empty room.
“Juyeon would kill you if he knew that you were in here, late at night, reading hate comments.” Sunwoo told her, feeling the girl shake from giggles.
“He would be really mad at me. Juyeon hates it when I put myself through this.” Angel said as she rubbed at her nose, still sniffling slightly.
Sunwoo smiled. They both sat in silence for a moment before Angel spoke.
“Do you think I’m talented enough to be in this group?” She asked quietly.
Sunwoo’s head snapped to look at her so fast, it felt like he broke it. She wouldn’t dare look at him either.
“How can you even ask that? Angel, you’re a triple threat. You can sing, rap, and dance. You’re beautiful and smart. You are so insanely talented, that it’s crazy. You deserve to be an idol, and you deserve to be in this group.” Sunwoo finished, making sure that she was looking right at him as he did.
Angel smiled slightly. “You promise?”
Sunwoo grinned. “I promise. Please don’t ever doubt yourself again. Those people that make those comments are just jealous. You don’t need their validation or anyone’s validation for that matter.”
Angel felt herself tear up again as she rubbed her head. “I don’t know if I’m going to make it through this comeback.”
Sunwoo looked at her. “Maybe you need a break?”
Angel nodded. “You might be right.”
She laid her head on Sunwoo’s shoulder as he spoke.
“Do me a favor,” Sunwoo whispered, making Angel him in acknowledgment. “The next time you sneak out, can it not be so far from the dorm?”
