Ā Starter Call!
In character chatzy HERE.
Just a fun enviornment for the characters and muns, drama free. Everyone is welcomed!
Nose is nestled in a bundle of white locks, arms strung around her waist. Breathing in her scent and allowing silence to fall upon them, he merely holds her close and tight. āI do not wish for you to fight in this war, Sigyn.ā Voice is hushed, barely audible unless one is listening close enough. Plenty of times has he tried turning her around, has fought and attacked in hopes she would be deterred from fighting a battle she did not belong in. Perhaps it is because even the Trickster knows all too well, how willingly sacrificial she is for far too many souls that will be on the battlefield, and shall be lost that day. With his hands on her waist, he turns her around, grip firm as green eyes lock upon blue ones that he never wishes will seize to exist. Eyes from a woman whose soul burns so bright, that has become a vital part in his life.Ā
Changed it, reformed it and has made it almost impossible to breathe and think straight if she is no longer a part of it; a part of his heart.
Ā āIf you are to comeā¦āĀ
And he knows she will ā he hates her for it. Truly despises her stubborn will to go. Part of him, does not wish to fight himself⦠needs no reason to fight besides mortals that trust him less than they can throw him. Yet he owes it to Thor, his brother regardless of all their squabbles in the past. āThen you must stay at my side, at all times. Not once, will you part from me.ā Loki cannot protect her if she strays too far, finds herself half way across the field. Soft exhale, of what can be considered of both irritation and impatience comes from the God as his thumb brushes along her lower lip. Closing their non-existent space, his head tilts and his lips brush against hers with every word he utters.Ā āYou are my heart, my beloved.ā And so he kisses her, kisses her and touches her with the most amorous of nature. A kiss so deep, so heart felt, as if it is kissing her for the very last time. Because it was.Ā
Time strikes, their time is up. Leather and metal straps are tightly woven into place, golden helmet settled upon black hair as the daggers, sword and mystical weapons are so perfectly hidden away. No more than a few words come from the Jotun even as they descend into the field that rancid monster is expected to appear on.Ā
For the first time, they all stand side by side, a large of army that is flanking as many sides as possible with the initial mission to surround and overwhelm. To spot a weakness and aim for it, relentlessly, in hopes that they shall shorten the gap between themselves and victory. Victory that did not come without a sacrifice he had felt coming, one that he held as a deeply rooted regret even now, standing before Freya. One of the very last few he expected to communicate with him after the loss of Sigyn, an opportunity he did not pass on. Knowing her, it was something important that had to do with his beloved. Of course he had shown up without a second thought to withhold him, even if it could have been a vengeful ploy against him.
Months had passed since Sigynās death, yet the image of her final moments constantly dwell in his mind to replay the instance as if he will be able to somehow go back and change it. Ah, but a second change will come. Perhaps not today, nor tomorrow, nor in the close years to come - but it will surely happen.Ā
And until then, he will mourn her silently without breaking. Miss her so badly, it begins to physically pain the Trickster to the point he must find some sort of release and momentary distraction. Become accustomed to sleeping once more without the company of his wife. Sleep had evaded him for some time after her death, only resting when heād collapse from exhaustion. Not once did he touch her side of the bed, but heād lay so close, holding her pillow to breathe in her scent through out the night. Because only was he allowed to dwindle and succumb to the feeling of deep loss when he was alone in their room. A room that goes without being touched or changed, her items still remaining where she had left them. Not even the sheets had been changed for some time, not until her scent fully faded away from them.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āI will not force her to remember. Should she desire to have her memories Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā once more, they will be on her own accord.āĀ
Both a promise to himself and to Sigyn, who is to eventually come back as a mortal with locked away abilities and memories that only her helmet will unlock. A helmet that he holds, so gentle in between his hands, as if it were made of the finest glass in all the realms. Original plan was to allow the Goddess rest, rest she very well deserved after all the centuries she has spent being tugged back and forth in. Sadly, no one else is able to hold the infinity stones within themselves quite like she had, not without becoming lost to the darkness and losing control far too quickly. With her sacrifice, not only did many get to walk home, but there was a shake in the balance that the Gods could not fix nor shake. Looming darkness becoming heavier and heavier each passing day that she did not exist.
Ā And perhaps... the darkest thing of all was the way fate was rewritten, and she was stripped away of her well earned time to rest will be cut short for their own selfish needs.Ā Ā
No specific time or year is provided, or location is given to the Trickster. Because he isnāt meant to find her before her time. She is meant to be born, to grow and learn, to become a young adult and live as natural as the course of a human life can allow. Their meeting is a gravitational pull that was suddenly turned on by a switch, and Loki was able to feel the pull from a distance away. He knows that it is Sigyn, that it is his beloved because itās a pull that he felt a century ago when she was still his. Centered, grounded and strong. Everything she had been when he had been nothing but a God that was crumbling away, barely able to pick up his own pieces. When she had come into his life, itād been filled with so much disdain and spitefulness that even the thought of how he treated her now made him sick towards himself. All the sacrifices she made, the abuse and hurt she has gone through.
Ā Even now, he feels a pang of guilt that she must be brought to the world of the living where she is bound to suffer once more. The fact he is happy for this is what brings forth that undeniable guilt. He should have agreed to let the world plummet, so long as she rests.Ā
When Freya stated Sigyn can be brought back, he had jumped far too quickly on the opportunity. Being selfish would pay off to his benefit, and heāll happily live with that guilt once sheās in his arms, where she belongs.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ____________________________________________
Drawing in a breath, he takes in her scent, nose nestled in her darkened hair as he had done before the battle. Only he is much more relaxed, both unwinding on a cushioned bed and loose to little clothing. Heās pressed against her back, and his arm lays around her. Bright shine of the sun is just beginning to peak between the blind gaps, birds singing and chirping as they begin their early day with the rest of the world that is also awakening. After a year of being steady, heād finally convinced her to move into his penthouse. Where heās able to keep her close and under his watch and protection at all times. Until her status is unlocked, she is completely under the radar. Both from immortal enemies and Gods alike, but he chooses to believe she still requires his protection. Just in case.
Ā Allowing his hand to glide up her side, he tucks her hair back, leaning up on his side by propping himself up on his elbow so he can place a kiss to her cheek without waking her.Ā
Slipping out of bed, he heads to the kitchen where he begins to brew her morning tea, leaning against the counter in deep thought. Today, would be the day she will make her decision.Or so, that she would be presented with her decision. Loki raises a hand, and thereās a smoke of green mist that sparks, tightening before it expands and her helmet appears. For the past century, he had taken care of it, kept it close and hidden away. Lips that are pinched tight pulls into a soft smile, and he has to refrain a laugh from escaping him as the memory of her taunting his horns after he mocked hers. Her voice had come through so crystal clear, he could almost feel the phantom touch of the way she would pull at his horns after heād purposely bow his head to allow Sigyn the chance to reach.Ā
Removing the boiling water and placing it aside, he props the helmet on his living room stand first before he prepares the tea. Setting it on the table, he quietly steps back into the room, bending his knees so heās besides her side of the bed. And he canāt bring himself to wake her up instantly, the way her face is free of all inner demons and stresses that hound her throughout the day, are all gone. Peacefully at rest, and even with the change of hair color, it is his Sigyn. His Sigyn, before her death, his Sigyn when heād wake moments before her and he would watch over her. If he watched her long enough, he would forget and look past her hair and he could almost swear it was white again.Ā
Then heād blink, and the image would be gone.Ā

Slow breaths were being taken, fur damp from the heavy rain that had been pouring heavily most of the night. Exhaustion was evident, large, yellow eyes slowly closing and opening. Sleep had been something the large wolf had been fighting, the urge to rest being fought due to instincts of danger being near. Unable to do much to defend himself, he could only remain in a wakeful state to at least try and startle the enemy away. Yet even the largest of monsters needed rest, muscles slowly giving in as his jaws unclenched, causing the sword to slowly seep into the roof of his mouth. Blood dribbled down the swords edge and hilt, and straight into his own mouth.
A sensation he had grown far too accustomed to feel, the sword at times driving in so deep he would have to brace himself to snap his jaws open once more and feel the tug since he had begun to heal around it. Slumber had won, and the wolf appeared almost as peaceful as itās younger counterparts when they rested. Ears were flattened, tail tucked around him tightly, as if he tried pulling himself into him as much as possible to maintain as much warmth as possible, given he was taking a bit of time to dry since he was kept in utter darkness.
Shivers suddenly stopped, ears perking and eyes opening in a split second. He could hear footsteps approaching, light but clearly in a hurry. Unable to turn his head much, he attempted turning it as much towards the left as possible since he knew thatās the direction the stranger was coming from.
Senses were dimmed due to the solitary binding of such a dark place, no excitement or new things to discover. Yet the closer they got, the scent grew stronger and more familiar. Confusion overcame the great wolf, and he perked up as high as he could go. Low growls and huffs came from him, as if trying to communicate with the Trickster; question why he had come now. He had not gotten a visit in the longest time, which showed clear by his thinning physique. Before they at least threw the dead animals down his throat along with some waters to keep him alive and well, yet orders to care for the wolf had been withdrawn from Odin quite some time ago.
Truth be told, that is who he had been expecting to come. Odin, or one of his men to be sent to do more than just balance a sword within his mouth. He had a growing suspicion that they wanted to alter destiny, and Loki being here was somewhat proving him right.
If the Trickster had to guess that the nights events would pan out like they had, he had to be honest with himself. He knew that Odin and Thor were always capable of the things theyād done to him, why had something like this ever been different? But it wasnāt for Loki that the silver tongue was now concerned for. But his son ā his eyes cast over to the black wolf, bound in chains while Loki himself was also held by chains as he faced the all-father for judgement, just as his son would be facing after him. He had to do something. Odin would see to it that Fenrir be sentenced to death and as Loki was deemed an unfeeling monster, he was not so when it came to his children. Heād probably only seen the wolf a handful of times, but that did not stale his love for his child. The silver tongue knew at this point, heād have to do something. Heād have to make Odinās anger towards Loki greater than anything that could ever come after his place in line. He had to render him too exhausted to think of a punishment for Lokiās abnormal son. The thought itself that Loki considered, was enough to make him boil the frost giant within himself with rage. Of course, Odin would torture Lokiās family. Had it been Thorās flesh and blood, nothing theyād ever do would ever see the light of day.
Loki was making sure his own son didnāt endure the torture that Odin could place upon a man. The double standard he held Loki to and the unfairness he treated them both with. His son would not be punished for being born, Loki promised Fenrir, if not verbally to him but instinctually, obligatorily and mentally. He took no more moments to think of this, as he stepped into his place in line. Standing only a few feet away from the first step of the landing of the throne of Asgard.
āYour trickery knows no bounds Loki - if you not my son, I would see to it that you be put to death.ā The eye-patched king dropped his head with thought and what was masked regret. Making Lokiās eyes swim with rage. Of course, nothing would ever keep Lokiās mouth shut. Ā āHow dare you feign remorse for me? How dare you continue trying to lie to me with your collection of transparent masks of affection for me!ā Loki shouted. The fierce words of his mouth had been unleashed and no one was safe from it. āEnough!ā Odin demanded in return to his sons verbal assaults. āOne more word Loki, and it will be your last!ā The man angrily cried out.
āYou regret nothing of what you do to me, you regret nothing of anything youāve done, just as you wonāt regret anything youāll do to my lineage, had it been Thor and his son in this line, there wouldnāt be a court, would there,ā Loki froze, only to nastily spit out his adoptive fathers name. āOdin,ā Loki snarled, and when silence followed his father he shouted once more. āAnswer my question!ā The prince was livid. It was no act. He was absolutely dripping with angry venom with every word ā he feared for his son. He feared for his death and Loki promised himself, he will get his flesh and blood out of this. He will get him out. Loki would come last, if he got out at all.
āLoki, stop!āā A voice boomed from Odinās side. Thor. Lokiās eyes narrowed at the lightning God and his nostrils flared with anger. āNoāIāve had enough,ā Odin held up his hand, one finger extended to silence his other son. His eyes were fixated on Loki with an expression Loki couldnāt even translate for himself. āLoki, I have reached the end of my patience with your envy fueled out bursts. I have reached my patience with you, period. You continue to incriminate yourself, but you shall not use your voice to do it any longer.ā With that, Odin then turned to the god of thunder, giving him a stern and authoritative expression. āThorāyou will demonstrate your strength as a king by issuing this prisoners punishment and you will do so without allowing your remorseful love for the man you know as your brother, to intervene.ā
Lokiās eyebrows raised with curiosity, until Odinās eyes once again fixed onto the god of mischief. āYour mouth shall be sewn shutā¦So your tricky words and constant self-empathizing rants can be no longer.ā Odin said, his voice held no emotion. He was no father right now. He was a king and had referred to Loki as to what Loki KNEW heād always seen him ass. The Prisoner. The trickster and his brother exchanged glances. āFather, surely thereāsāā Thor began, finally pulling his shock-filled eyes away from his raised-brotherās chained form to his fathers, only to have his fathers voice echo throughout the halls harshly. āYou will do the punishment, or I will do it myself!ā Odin roared, giving no shake to Loki but a blink to his brother Thor.
āWhy are you surprised, Thor? Itās nothing less than what I expect from a man like him.ā Loki, without taking a step further, tauntingly raised forward dramatically. āA man who claims to be king, but is no different than the father of mine that is naturally a monster. You are far worse than my born-monster father, Odin. You are evil and you are justā¦you are nothing more, you arenāt even as you wish to be you pathetic, king. Nothing but a man turned monster.ā Loki venomously dripped as he saw a guard with a golden platter kneel before the king. When he removed the lid from the cater, it revealed a sharp needle with a leather thong. Thor equipped the material and made his way down the steps toward the other Prince. āLokiāā Thor started but Loki silenced him. āSpare me some brotherly speech about how you wished it could be another way, Thor. You are no better than Odin. If you any heir of a king at all, who wish to do better than your predecessor, you will not allow any harm come to my son that he may not be able to handle or would grant him slow death. If you wish to do anything to make up for stick a needle through my mouth, you will see to it he have an instant death.ā Loki said, he too, mocking the tone of which Odin gave Thor. No longer brother, only the prisoner he stood before them all as.
Three to four hard hands gripped Lokiās shoulders and forced him into a kneeling position, making him look up at his brother. Reaching forward, Thor began the first stitch. Piercing the needle through the line against Lokiās lips. Thor hissed when he felt resistance on the underside of his brothers lip, using his thumb and forefinger, he pushed the sharp needle through the other end after a few seconds of hard skin had broken through, making blood pour out from around the needle into Lokiās mouth. It wouldāve gone smoothly, but Loki couldnāt bear to stand still through the ordeal. His cries and screams echoed throughout the great hall. He shook his shoulders violently, attempting to shake off the guards. But instead, Odin demanded the people that Loki couldāve thought worse to be there. āSif and the warriors three, aide your prince in this. Hold the Prisoner down!ā Odin ordered sternly.
When the four figures rushed towards Loki, he struggled harder. The needle pulling at the skin it had hooked like a fish, was pulling and tearing the skin around it as Loki fought and jerked his head. The pain, even for a god, was unbearable as the needle had been dipped in something to sting. It tasted of something vile, mixed with his blood as Loki was forced to swallow it. He gagged multiple times against the taste of his blood and attempted to cough it up. As Thor worked on merely piercing the inside of Lokiās lip, the four figures managed to get him on his back, Thor on his front, pinning Loki down with the hammer, invoking his anxiety even further.
Blood poured down his face from the ordeal, blood dribbled down over the manās chin, down each sides of his face to his ears, covering his entire face with blood from the mouth back and down. Thor had gone with a torturous cross stitch, which would pull when Loki would even CONSIDER moving his mouth. As Thor stitched, heād open Lokiās bottom lip to feed the needle into an interlaced stitched, curving over the shape of his lips, naturally tugging at the sensitive skin, keeping the wounds fresh and never healing.
With a muffled scream against the stitches in his mouth, Loki woke himself with an agonizing pain in his mouth. The feeling of having the holes where the needle had pierced, being ripped downwards toward his lips, his scream echoed off the walls of his holding cell. He didnāt know for how long he screamed but when he jumped to his feet and slumped against his wall, attempting to fight off the Thor in his dream. It wasnāt until the cloud in his eyes faded that he looked around his cell and let the pace of his heart slow to a degree. He was still crashed against the wall, huddling himself in a corner as he shifted his eyes, manically around his cell instinctively, until he finally relaxed.
When a dripping sound cut into the silence of his cell, his eyebrows furrowed and he narrowed his eyes curiously, letting them tiredly hit the growing red puddle of blood on his cell floor. It had to be more than nineteen inches wide as it spread over the white floor. This was normal. The image that while god only knows how old, would bring such fresh pain into his mind that he would nearly pull his lips apart in his sleep trying to scream.
He had never felt so tired as he did in THOUSANDS of years. He had no way of telling what time it was, but he knew one this was for sure. It had been such a long time since heād seen his son. Not only did the time in here exhaust Loki, but so did the amount of energy it took to fuel such tricks as such as forcing himself to do the gift that, only he knew his mother to have perfected. He managed to seek through the minds of the halls of many of men, until he found one he was searching for. The wolf. But right now, as he planned it, could not afford it. He hadnāt been able to afford the energy for a while but this was because of what he had planned. Even with a small amount of sleep at intervals, it seemed to help. He did often check on the wolf though, which prompted him to quickly remind himself to check on his son for tonight.
Each time he would see his chambers, the trickster became angry all over again. To sense the never-ending wet conditions of the cell he was in. Loki never expected first class treatment, but neither did he appreciate the blatant torture that was being inflicted upon his son. Pulling himself from the wolfās mind, he knew this was the time to do this. It was now. He couldnāt wait any longer. At this rate, his son would die due to something as ridiculous as starvation.
It seemed that the fates were on Lokiās side at this time. When a helmeted shadow appeared on the far wall of the prison, Loki grinned to himself before forcing his mind to focus on the task at hand. Closing his eyes, he drew in a deep breath and focused on the image he wished to project. When he found one of his choosing, he grinned and projected the image of the cell Loki was in. Only, in this illusion, Loki was no where to be found. Left in his imagined empty cell, was only a pile of blood stained, green and black clothing. Once Loki and only Loki, could see the guard stop once he looked into the males holding room, he grinned to himself and watched the expression of panic race across the guards face.
He did the stupidest, albeit what Loki wanted, thing he could do. Pressing the prisons particle cell doors release button, Loki took this time of opportunity and released the image from the manās eyes. Now, only showing Loki as he advanced him. When the guard held his weapon to fire, Loki gripped the manās arm and bend it opposite ways at the elbow, snapping their arm. Grabbing the weapon the man held, Loki tore it from his grasp and whirled it around in a spinning motion until it was then Lokiās to have and use. Drawing it back, he smashed it into the side of the manās head, causing his head to snap backwards into unconsciousness. Gathering the clothes the guard wore, Loki stripped them off him and replaced his clothing with that of the guards and dressing the guard in Lokiās clothing.
With the alarms sounding off, the prince quickly exited his cell and enforced the field again, locking the guard inside. Making his way throughout the halls as a disguised Guard, Loki hurriedly found the quarters of which his son was being held. The exhaustion was beginning to hit him because of the illusion heād used. His eyes blurred, his head fuzzy but he pushed himself on. Fenrir had to get out of here. Loki would see to this if he had to use the last of his strength, before his life gave way, to get his son free. He was not suffering at the neglectful hands of Odin no more.
After the cells heād checked came up empty, he could feel agitation taking hits at his energy again. He tried to calm himself but the alarms were sounding off louder and louder and footsteps grew closer and closer to him. His plan was falling apart and his breathing was hitching due to the possibility of passing out. This level of exhausting would render a midgardian to their death beds. When Lokiās eyes finally strengthened, he started his search again until he hit a familiar smell he remembered getting when he visited Fenrir. Quickly opening the door, the small light cast into the room illuminated the wolf. Lokiās eyes locked onto the giant wolf with fury. How he wanted to turn around right this moment to kill the first Odinson he could see. But he was smarter than that. However, he was once again caught between a rock and a hard place. Feet rushed towards him and he knew, they knew what they were after now.
Charging into the holding room, Loki demanded at the wolf. āUp! Up! Getāā Loki said, but then his eyes stumbled upon them. Chains at first and then the sword. Loki knew he couldnāt afford the energy for them both at this time of realization. He was going to have to give it all to his son if he wanted to see him live. Raising his hand, Loki shot forth a green ray that struck the giant wolf. The energy was dizzying. Lokiās head wanted to crash down in weakness after the energy that drained from his muscles into the green light he shot out. When the green light reduced, in the place where the wolf had beenā¦was a man. Sickly, skeletal and everything Loki was going to remember when he let himself be caught this moment. If he was going to get his son out and Loki to be trapped here, he was going to murder Odin himself. He too, would die, no doubt, but he would get the satisfaction of ending that mans life for the sight Loki had seen and the torture his flesh and blood had endured.
Rushing forward, Loki flung his blood stained green shirt he kept from the cell, over the man. Before he could grip the chains, the door busted open with a handful of Asgardian soldiers standing behind it. All of which, rushed in quickly prompting Loki to jump to his feet and stand in front of Fenrirās weak form. āAlert theāā The man began to order, but before he could continue, Loki drove his weapon through the manās back, feeling it break through ribs and his skeleton to stick out of his chest. Picking up the manās struggling and shaking body with the stick, Loki twisted his midsection and hurled it towards the crowd of guards, knocking the first line over into the second, sending them all sprawling to their feet.
With the moment of distraction, Lokiās eyes glued to the wolf once more. Finally, his chains caught Lokiās eye. Shooting another beam of hot light from his hand, the light shot between the chain cuffs and the chains and severed the line between them, freeing the newly human turned wolf. āFenrir!ā Loki began, but when a blunt hit to his back that he normally could have stood through, stunned him and sent him falling into the concrete on his knees. He was seeing spots, his head once again beginning to fight him into unconsciousness and Loki could slowly feel his head winning. Blackness was beginning to consume him. He had to create some type of escape door for Fenrir. Something somewhere else. With a hopeful thought, he chose Midgard. He eyed the weapon in his hand and groaned as he crawled on his front towards Fenrir, finally, extending the weapon towards him, channeling more of his energy, he began draining what he had left into the tool. It glowered a bright green color. The energy combated him as the men themselves attempted to fight him, beating him in the back with their weapons to slow him, but the prince paid them no mind. The hard blows to his back taking his breath away as he head the escape that Fenrir needed, in his hand.
āFenrir! Go! Now!ā the god cried desperately. His own voice echoed into his mind, along with the haunting clanking sounds of his own beating from the guards, as the dark cloud heād been fighting in his eyes, slowly came over his eyes like a gradient, swallowing the man into unconsciousness.
