Amano does not know where precisely she came from --- she thinks she had a mom, at some point, somewhere, but that thought is no more than a fragmented memory of what could be. She had many tales told to her while growing up, in some of them Wonderland itself created her as part of its essence strive to survive, in others, she was a child that fell, and fell, and fell deeper and deeper into rabbit hole until she was taken into care of the peculiar but worried inhabitants of Wonderland's, or at least, the Cheshire cat that seemed to take an instant liking to the girl.
