I felt the show’s ending was a solid 3.5/5. I wish they stuck with the darker themes of the show and really played around with that aesthetic, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and have it reflect in the character redesigns.

i thought the “everyone’s happy and all best friends irl” ending with the implication that abstraction CAN be reversed with support and time REALLY weakened the narrative. Not to mention, I was also pretty irritated by the fact that the ending retconned the age differences presented in the series.

@siggokart was calling a SOMA-like event to have happened and honestly? I would’ve been more satisfied with an ending of Caine revealing the fact that their real bodies are all dead, making it SO much more dramatic as they have to figure out how to live their lives in the circus and potentially undo abstraction THAT way with Caine’s help.

With the series, I was overall really disappointed with how weak the writing was for the female characters (aside from Jax) and could see the creator’s misogyny seep through with how certain characters are treated and abused (*COUGH COUGH RAGATHA*)

I thought Jax was a very interesting character, but I was annoyed with how much she hijacked the show. I wish we learned MORE about the rest of the cast—learned more about POMNI who’s meant to be the OTHER PROTAGONIST. All we know is that she’s an accountant who unwinds by urban exploring….Ok? Oh and that she’s kind...

honestly based on prior posts from gooseworx, especially the one with Jax holding a bottle of progesterone as a way to “justify” gambling….i really do think this is just a transfem in deep, misogynistic denial. like when Jax’s flashback came, I honestly thought he (in this case just referring to in canon pronouns) was running away from an abusive home because he might be gay or trans.

I’ve been especially busy this year, BUT I squeezed some time to make a silly dub of THE GUGGENHEIM on my YouTube channel.

A very fun fact is that this comic was physically debuted as an extra in "THE SOWERS: A ONE-SHOT COMIC” in May 2024 at @desertislandcomics ! Thanks so much Gabe! I had only self-published a handful, so I hope they’re out somewhere in the cosmos being enjoyed…

Anywho, Aria is voiced by me and Dom is voiced by @siggokart . It’d be a nice present to have my work shared 🙂‍↕️💐 .

THIS WEEK MARKS THE 1st YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE “OG” SOWERS!

Originally debuting a day earlier at my university’s art gallery, the OG thesis project was released May 7th, 2025. It followed the first iteration of Alé and Ryvera’s story.

Admittedly, I have bittersweet feelings attached to this version of The Sowers, but ultimately, I’m happy and satisfied with the project because it serves as a foundational point for the Lorraverse—including an upcoming revised version (short story).

Keep an eye out for May 7th (also my birthday) as I made a silly little dub of the “GUGGENHEIM - Aridom” comic that made me laugh and I’m sure will make you too!
