I only recognised Steely Dan out of all of them but that's a really good thing cuz I'd love to get more recs for artists that aren't as broadly known! There are plenty of big names I've never really sat down and listened to before but getting to explore more niche artists is exciting too. who knows how my musical taste will be transformed.........

looking to expand my music taste so i'm making a wheel of artists i want to learn more about and every day I'm going to spin the wheel and listen to their discography and see if im a fan or not.

Start drawing often and badly. If you cant think of anything to draw, give yourself like 5 minutes to sketch a random object. You gotta get the gears moving and then eventually you'll find yourself able to do what you actually want to do!

(I use this with sewing projects. Its a lot easier to start on a skirt or a vest when I've let myself make a few simple pouches first)

i saw this the day it was sent and just completely forgot to answer but thank you for the advice anon!! I've been trying to put this into practice more but my issue is i get this irrational embarrassment when i make something and it's not exactly as i envisioned cuz i think to myself "oooough maybe i suck at this entirely and should give up if i cant even draw this one simple thing on the first try" i do really appreciate the advice though and im going to keep trying it 💙💙💙 i just need to get over my useless desire to perfect things on the first try cuz i know that's super unrealistic lol

howw do people draw so often. i feel like for the past year. maybe two years. i am barely able to start or finish anything and im lucky if i can make a single drawing that isnt a quick thoughtless sketch in a month. seriously i need like tips and tricks to get myself motivated to at least Try and work on things more often cuz rn it's either i barely draw at all or i only get the itch to do it right when im about to conk out. heeeeelppppp
