I think somebody should draw Lucy Carlyle in two little ponytails/pigtails (depending on how long you make her bob). I feel like she'd look so cute in it. This has the added benefit of keeping hair out of one's eyes and face, which is certainly a problem plaguing short-haired people (speaking from personal experience)
