One might think the nature just is, but given how many setbacks, failures and obstacles have been on this character's way of ice climbing, it seems there might be some sentience there after all. Avalanches, sudden breezes and storms, odd fissures happening right under her, she's had them all. It's as if the mountains, ice, wind itself wants to prevent her from ascending. But she's not giving up!

I followed some specific ideas in designing this character, in some ways she ended up quite far from "intended purpose" but also somewhat too close to reference :'D I'll tell more about it once I'm done with another piece about her.

Gave her hare ears and I've been calling her Riikka, even though I feel lil odd about giving real people names. Ended up reading and bookmarking sites about ice climbing gear to not half-ass this too much :'D
