Original Nancy Drew ghostwriter Millie Benson reviewed the first Nancy Drew game, Secrets Can Kill in her Toledo Blade column, published April 3 1999.

HeR Interactive sent a copy of the game to Millie, along with chocolates and flowers, and in return she wrote them a review.

The HeR offices had a framed copy of the article, along with a letter Millie wrote back to them:

Sadly, I feel this in every fiber of my being. Life just feels impossible most days, but then I'm struggling with autism, chronic depression, general anxiety, social anxiety, rejection sensitivity dysphoria, and CPTSD as well as fibromyalgia. So I'm just very f***ed up.

My sister and I were 9 when we started playing. I bought a game pack of four games for girls. One of them was The Haunted Carousel. (It was the only good game in the pack!) We were completely hooked after that and started buying more games. We got stuck a lot though and had to get help from our mom.
