"I've never felt like this with anyone before" why do we always say that yet when we find someone new, a different and even greater spark happens

I’ve been with three other guys before, I never felt happy in those relationships they made me feel insecure about myself. But with my ex that I just lost I didn’t feel like that at all. I actually felt happy and wasn’t afraid to be myself. I always smiled when I saw his face I always wanted to be with him because he made me feel safe. So to me it is true I never felt like that before with anyone.

Nov. 6, 2016 Me and my boyfriend broke up... we still talk about hang out but of course we don't do the things we use to and it makes me sad because I want that back he made me happy. I miss him even though we still hang out and talk. I guess I miss what we had. I haven't felt like this with any other guy before.
