HEARD NY’ALL WANTED SOME OSOSAN MOVIES SPOILERS...

You guys asked for it…here it is. SPOILERS FOR EIGA NO OSOMATSUSAN! (aka Osomatsusan the Movie) Once again, I want to make a note that…these are the interpretations I have as person who is DEFINITELY NOT 100% fluent in Japanese. I had a difficult time following some of the more dialogue heavy parts and I’m still not entirely sure I fully understood all of the key points. BUT I’m pretty sure I’ve got the general idea down so please take this with a grain of salt and don’t come after me later being like “OH MAKI YOU WERE WRONG ABOUT blahblahblah”…I probably am wrong about some of this stuff so take it easy with me…kthx. (Thank you to those that sent me anons, I hope that this can answer some of your questions, but if you have any others, you can DM me anytime!) Good news is the movie will probably have an official English dub. Bad news, might have to wait for DVD.

Also it’s not just overseas they don’t wanna spoil other japanese fans. Life here is busy some people don’t get a chance to see it when it comes out.

It’s getting a release in some other Asian countries and those countries tend to sub in English.

yeah, most western fandoms are like that since people are impatient/excited about new things from their respective shows/games/etc. which is unfortunate for the people who get accidental spoilers. it is sort of different in the instance of the osomatsu-san movie though, mostly because the western fandom is in the dark about if/when we will have a subbed release of the movie, and the thought of not getting one or ever knowing what happens in the movie is sort of frightening, so thats why we are “asking” about spoilers from the japanese fandom. we know we wont actually get them, but joking about it is the closest we can get to actually experiencing what the movie is like.
