I'm all about dressing up basics to look not quite so basic, so once again I was pleasantly surprised to see these fabulous pieces in good old Marks & Spencer. There's a lot more to look at so do make sure to pay a visit on your way down to the Food Hall.

This happened to be a slap dash visit during my lunch break so I only managed to come away with these cute "carrot" trousers, which are super flattering on us more petite women. And they come in three neutral colour ways: black, beige and khaki...

Now you can't go wrong with some linen pants for Spring/Summer and a good quality Oxford shirt that would look fabulous with a pair of belted chinos or even a mini skirt...
