When the government demands I hand over my rights or else, and I tell them to get lost, that's not a threat. Refusing to give up my rights isn't harming or restricting the rights and opportunities of anyone because I actually have the integrity and self respect to value the rights that make me. I recognize that without those rights I am nothing and if I don't fight for them than it's my own fault if I am oppressed after handing them over.

People that consider that a threat are the one's who have no integrity or self respect. They lose the will to fight so quick that anything the government does must be justified because questioning anything it does shatters their worldview completely. The one's viewing the government as their protector will always become the oppressed despite their claims of how safe they are.

But if the state is big enough to oppress another country across the world, you better believe they'll own your ass without a second thought. If the state will legislate to bomb another country to rubble while profiting off the carnage and resulting genocide than there's nothing they won't do to stay in power. Anything they'll do outside our borders just to make money they will do here to keep you compliant. And choosing to comply makes you the fascist, not me.
