Disappointed with Jellycat pulling stock out of larger retailers? Want an alternative brand to fall in love with? Then check out some of the plushies from Mary Meyer!
They're most known for their Putty line, which has very adorable stuffed animals made with very interesting and soft fabric textures!
But I also really love their Marshmallow Zoo line, which has some of the softest-feeling plushies on the market right now!
Or, if you're more into the mochi-minky feel, they also have their Smootheez line of plushies!
Want a unique animal? Mary Meyer has you covered!
In conclusion: Mary Meyer is awesome and makes adorable plushies. Try them out next time you're on the hunt for a new plushie friend!
I take one sensible edible on a thursday night and the grubhub doordash (sorry) Sheetz menu starts looking like that one bit from Annihilation (the book) (have not read it) (but I know about it)
do you see what I mean

There is a special kind of hell in being desperate for the BAB or large TY my little pony FiM plushes (or just high quality ones in general - I really want the 40th anniversary ones too) and having the plastic nylon hair be a sensory nightmare. Why couldnt they use the faux fur like the unicorn plushie? Or have the shape & details and more filling like the plushies before (for example the Shenanigans plush below)
The nylon hair works with the plastic toys but really doesnt for a plush toy
Nona showing off her new collar I made her and enjoying rolling on the daisies! She matches!
anyone else have to like. gentle parent their moms about food. my mom is like “let’s be naughty and eat pizza” and i gently say “food is not inherently good or bad”
@onenicebugperday
tomboyism is so funny to me. gender non-conformity for girls is acceptable for like two minutes between the ages of 8 and 10. beyond that it’s appalling and you’re a freak but for those two years…… they could’ve had it all
i like working at plant store. sometimes you ring up someone and there's a slug on their plant and so you're like "Oh haha you've got a friend there let me get that for you" and you put the slug on your hand for safekeeping but then its really busy and you dont have time to take the slug outside before the next customer in line so you just have a slug chilling on your hand for 15 minutes. really makes you feel at peace with nature. also it means sometimes i get to say my favorite line which is "would you like this free slug with your purchase"
@holyknuckled you get it. lterally what are we here on earth for if not to occasionally impose gastropods upon unsuspecting customers. this story is delightful
@holyknuckled like that?
oh? my god???
yeah, Exactly like that
the white-green gradient of a freshly chopped spring onion…. c'est magnifique
isnt this beautiful
Trash fashion for Binbag the little binturong! Don't worry, it's made from a clean bag lol (actually it was a mailing bag rather than a binbag but ssssh)
Would suit a raccoon or rat or other garbage friend too!
ya gotta stop caring what people think and start being extremely weird. but never cruel. i think that might save you
want to add that it IS worth it, but I need to be realistic and say this: being weird isn't easy.
If you’re like me and you’ve gone a long time being extremely self conscious of other people’s opinions, it’s not as simple as flicking the “be myself” switch. It’s a difficult process. Self love takes practice; after all, you’re taking on an entire new mentality- the way you conceptualize yourself and how you’ll be perceived. That’s a lot to adjust to, and it won’t happen overnight.
some days, it’s not so bad. I’ll wear my weird clothes and put on my weird hat and draw my weird art and listen to my weird music, and I’ll love myself. and other days, I wish I could just fit in. and to those who say, “but everyone has their own insecurities, even if you don’t see them!,” at least some people can hide them better. some days, I’d give anything to do that.
embracing myself the last few years has helped me a lot. It’s helped me develop and mature, and find more confidence than I ever had before. most days, I really do like who I am now. for the first time, I can proudly say that, if I could see someone exactly like myself, I would want to be their friend.
but sometimes, I return to who I was before that happened. before I got my official diagnosis. before I joined my local art community. before I developed my art style. before I welcomed my love of expressionist film (and I say that in particular, because I can confidently say I would not be who I am today without it). and when I feel like that, I need to be more forgiving. maybe it’s different for other people, but I could never just decide to be weird and never look back. it takes work.
OP is right; it WILL save you. but please keep in mind it won’t happen immediately.
by calling it "time theft", the state created a crime that sounds even cooler than simply dicking around while on the clock, something which is already incredibly cool
