Hi everyone,

I am alive!! I haven’t been on here in ages, mostly because life has been crazy and the fact that we are in November actually makes me violently ill.

Updates for you!!! Hopefully seeing Crowded House in Adelaide next week (fingers crossed) and I have a boyfriend!!!!!!!!!! He’s such a sweetheart. So reassuring and kind. I also have a new job as an English teacher.

I have been so absent on here. We lost our beautiful Miss Lily on the 11th of April, and I’ve been trying to process a life without her, and have been trying to understand and fathom what that looks like.

We were not going to get any new family members so soon, but when I found out about these Ragdoll kittens, and the fact that their Mum is called Miss Lily, we took it as a sign from our sweet angel baby.

I have been sleeping on the couch every night since Thursday because I can’t deal with the thought of Lily sleeping by herself. Realistically, I know that she would be totally fine sleeping alone, but, I honestly feel so guilty. I can’t even shut my bedroom door without feeling upset. I’m not sure what I am going to do when I return to work. I’m such a mess and I am so exhausted, but I need to spend time with my beautiful girl, because if there’s one thing I won’t do, its regret not spending every second with my beautiful heart cat 💖

I found out last night that my beautiful cat has lymphoma. Any one who knows me knows that Lily means the world to me, and I have been uncontrollably sobbing since I found out :(

I have so many feelings atm, and I just need to put them out there, haha.

Okay so, every time I go to NZ, my love for Split Enz/Crowded House/Finn bros doubles (if that’s even possible at this point). They mean so so much to me, and I can’t even describe how much they have shaped me.

I feel so blessed to know my beautiful friend from NZ, and I am so lucky that I got to share my love for all things Finn with her throughout the years. We have forged such a loving and strong friendship out of our love for the Enz, and watching her get married was so special. I sobbed when she walked down the isle, because I was so proud of her <3

I’m already planning my return trip because honestly, what the hell is stopping me? I adore NZ and there’s still so many places I want to visit.
