Daddy says camp is his only vacation. Call me Ax, Neil is a dumb name! I'm ten! My dad sends me to summer camp every year and this is the FOURTH different camp I've been to and I think I wanna visit ALL the camps during the summer, it's so cool! [ Emergency Contact ] [ #hyperaxtive ]

Yes we can. And I think Rick is a most excellent name. Oh no way! Toads are really great, too! Wow, battle toads? Well, battle toad and frog. That is quite the future for little, excuse me, big Rick. I hope he is up to the challenge!

Yeah! Rick is an adventurer which is kinda like an explorer, which is what I am, but it's when you're an adult and you can look around more than just your backyard. And he can kick a lot of butt! Battling all the evil aliens - pow! *Punches and kicks the air* Hey! When you put the band-aids on my leg can you cross them like this? *Makes an 'X' with his fingers* It looks a lot cooler that way!

Awwww~ Thanks, Ax. I'd love to be your big sister. *She grins, picking the little boy up and putting him on her shoulders, holding onto his legs tight so he wouldn't fall.* Okay! Let's go! *She starts running toward the lake, giggling.*

"Best sister!" The boy squeals and giggles along as she sets him on her shoulders and ducks down to lower his center of gravity. He holds out his arms in front of him, pointing in the direction. "Let's go canoeing!"

All of them! All the band-aids in camp? I don’t know if I can authorize that. I might have to break out my own private stash of Hello Kitty band-aids for a battle scar that big.

Yeah, but you’re gonna have to be more careful. *Takes the frog under his froggy arms*

Can we go get them now? Oh, no we gotta take Rick - that's what I decided to name him 'cause Rick the best explorer EVERY - to find some more friends. Didja know there's a camper who has a pet TOAD? His name is Abe - the toad - and the counselor has a tank to keep him in and him and Rick are gonna be awesome buddies and battle evil alien monster!

It'll be so much fun! Have you ever caught a fish while swimming? It's hard but REALLY FUN when you get one! Or we can find frogs or turtles or even snakes!

*She giggles, kneeling down and whispering too* I promise not to tell, okay? This is super secret! Just like your mission! *she giggles, standing again and patting his head.* We're going to have a lot of fun.You're just like my little brother, so I'm sure we'll get along. *She smiles down at him.*

"Okay!" He nods and giggles a bit when she pats him. 

"I like having fun! I don't have any siblings but if I had an older sister, I'd want her to be as cool as you are!" He grabs her hand and tugs on it. "Come on! Let's go to the lake before the counselors see!"

I think you do just the right amount of talking. *She smiles.* I like your spunk! *She laughs at his story.* No way! That's awesome! Now you definitely have to come with me! I know your dad told you you're not allowed, but listen. Rules are meant to be broken. And you like canoeing right? So we'll have fun. If you decide to shoot down any boats, I know how to swim. *she giggles.* We won't get caught. And it'll be a great time. How old are you anyway, kid?

"Humm..." He rocks back on his heels in thought then nods. "Okay!" His voice drops to a loud whisper, "But ya gotta promise not to tell!"

"I can swim, too! I'm really good at it and more than just doggy paddling! Yeah, let's go canoeing! I'll just hide if a counselor comes by!" He grin grows really wide and he holds out his hands, splaying out his fingers. "I'm ten!"

You're right. The point of talking is to talk. I love talking. And I love listening to others talk. You seem like an amazing person to have a long conversation with. *She laughs* You should let me know how that mission goes when you complete it. I know it's super secret now, but if you finish it it should be okay to tell me right? *she winks, a small smile forming on her lips.* You sunk some boats? That's awesome! How'd you manage that? And if he said not to, that' all the more reason to go!

He nods enthusiastically. "Yeah, I love to talk! My dad says I do it too much, but how can you do too much of something you like?" He jumps on his toes excitedly, "Yes! It's super secret and Mr. Shades will know how to fix it and then I can tell you!"

His face falls a little. "No, dad gave a note to the counselors and said I spe-ci-fi-cal-ly could not do it! 'Cause we had archery before we did canoeing and I REALLY liked archery so I didn't wanna leave my bow and arrows behind so I snuck them on to the canoe with me and while we were in the middle of the lake I started shooting the other boats - like POW POW - and they got water in them and started to sink!"

"Uh... Jason?" He offered a innocent smile.

Whoa whoa whoa! *She cracks a smile.* You sure are talkative, aren't you? *She laughs.* What exactly are you doing again? *she lifts a brow, tilting her head.* I don't think I understood a word you just said. My name's Abby, by the way. It's nice to meet you Ax.

The boy shifts from one foot to the other, getting impatient. "People keep telling me that but they ask me questions and talk to me and isn't that the point of talking to talk?"

"Hi, Abby! I gotta go on a super secret mission and I want to go canoeing with you but my dad said I wasn't allowed to after I sunk some boats last year..."

The blonde's eyes shot open. "No no no. If you want to go to the lake Crystal has to stay here but, you do need to take a buddy with you."

"Weeeellll.... I was gonna meet a buddy at the lake!" He rocked back and forth on his heels.

Yo. Seems like we're in the same cabin. What's up? *she smiles a bit.*

Hey! We're all in the cool kid's cabin! My name's Ax and my dad said he wished there was a camp that was ALL summer long and could pick me up from school and then take me to school but there's no such thing so I'm here!

I was gonna go swimming but then I remembered I wanted to go hiking but then I remembered I wanted to find the Hockey Mask Guy but then I remembered the cool kid with the laser eyes and the sun glasses who's like Cyclops but he said he was way cooler than Cyclops would help me so I'm gonna go find him!!

She laughed. "Ok well that's very good but, let's not leave them in the cabin. We have enough bugs around here ok?"

"I was gonna take 'em down to the lake and see if I can catch bigger things with them!" He opened the side pocket on his shorts and dropped the bugs in there before brushing the dirt off on his shirt. "Can Crystal swim?"
