Know what's sad? When the people you know become the people you knew.

My life has been no crystal staircase. I've loved and lost. I've fought and have gotten beaten. I've lied and have walked in truth. I'm human and I have endured all of the joy and suffering that is attached to that title. 

Strangely, I had gotten to a place of comfort. A chapter in my life where I knew exactly who I was. What I would and would not do. Things that were acceptable and shit that I just could not, would not tolerate. 

A routine, regimen, program if you will. No drama. Work. Family. A loving, dependable foundation of friends...or so I thought. 

You ever hear the statement: "if it feels too good to be true, then it probably is?" 

Well shit, I guess it was.
