Introduction!

Hellooooo! I'm Maiako (she/they/he), and I'm going to lay everything out that you should know before you continue looking at my page/before you decide if you want to interact with me or not. Number one thing is that I am the host of a system (traumagenic, osdd-1b, not professionally diagnosed) of 22, the others will post, but I really don't know if they'll sign off with their name or anything. There are littles and they are allowed to post, just not message people. There's also non human alters, but human alters make up most of our system. Now, the next thing to mention is most of us (excluding littles) are proshippers and write/draw dead dove..that will not be posted here though. We use both to cope, and don't condone any of it when it comes to real breathing living humans. We strongly believe fiction doesn't equal reality.

We all deal with intrusive thoughts, so we will post about those occasionally. We struggle with sh and will talk about it, no pictures of course. We are autistic and have ADHD, we also have cptsd. Not going to list all our problems but we'll talk about those the most. (All professionally diagnosed)

The body is 18, black-asian, chronically ill, and occasionally has to use walking aids.

To sum it up we're in general considered very problematic, and if that makes you upset or something please block us, we don't want to negatively impact anyone or other systems.

Sooooooooo..got a lil' question for fellow systems, no pressure to answer though duh, but like, do you guys have people/characters/etc. in the inner world that aren't alters? Like, we have a LOT of comfort characters just kinda..chillin' but they definitely aren't alters.. like our inner world isn't huge its basically like a good-sized apartment building with a large backyard, and thats kinda it, but sometimes characters "Visit" or even live in the empty apartments.. at first the host Maiako, thought they could be like, developing alters but that doesn't seem to be the case some have been there for YEARS..

So like, can anyone relate? Cause its caused some mental confusion at times, its ultimately positive but it does make it hard to know if we have a new alter or not, like when Miku recently formed most of us assumed she wasn't an alter and just one of the randoms, but she was..so yea. Anyone relate or no??

We personally can't relate, but this sounds very interesting and I think we could suggest a few perspectives to examine here. The first matter would be... more of a question for y'all than anything else. How do y'all define who is an alter and who's not? Is it that you think those who you deem to to not be alters aren't sentient? Is it that they don't front? Is it that they personally don't identify with being a part of y'alls system? Depending on that answer, there are a few explanations I can see.

For one, if it's about them not feeling a part of the system... Some system would still call them alters, just. Ones that come from a different world. Those systems usually call themselves Gateway systems - they don't view their system as self-contained, but more as a gateway to other world through which various people from all over multiverse can pass and visit the realm inside y'alls head.

If it's the matter of them not fronting frequently, or not fronting at all... On kinhost.org we read about a curious classification system for headmates: it doesn't divide by common roles like protector, gatekeeper etc. Instead it divides headmates into officers, who are frequent fronters and responsible for taking care of the body and generally making sure they "run a tight ship", passengers, who are alters that agree to the system rules and follow them but don't seem to be too involved in anything importamt that happened, and stowaways and rebels, who are headmates that don't agree to the system rules, or are not even aware of their existence. Those last ones are often hidden away or stuck in their past memories. In this case, what y'all described in your post sounds like you have a bunch of fictives thar act as passengers. They hang around, and that's most of it. A passenger can strive to become an officer and an officer can resign and become a passanger if it suits them, so that would explain not being sure which one a certain alter is.

Hi! Im not Poppy but I found this interesting and thought I could explain more of what she's talking about, I'm the Host Maiako. :)

The way we define an alter recently changed because of Miku forming, who I thought was just one of the "visitors" but she wasn't. So, for us I think how to tell an alter from a "visitor" can really only be fronting and proof of not being as..I guess, flat? Like, the non-alters generally exist for comfort during a rough time, thats when they are the most prominent. They are almost exact copies of their sources, they don't react negatively or act negatively, they are very non-complex. Miku wasn't like that, she was very confused, upset, disoriented, and then she fronted.

She is our only instance of this happening, which is why right now how to tell is very confusing. As for if they identify as part of the system, no, at least I think they don't? They don't seem aware they're even in one. Personally, I don't consider them alters, because they act and feel very different and never front.

My best guess is they are a safety and comfort blanket, I believe there are alters that protect the system and play a large role in our safety, then there are the "visitors" who are for less threatening situations and for a constant passive comfort.

Ultimately, it's hard to say without more experience with it and understanding, I'm not sure if this helps, but yea. :)

Fell off the face of the earth, whoops.. anyway, we actually have 3 new alters so that sucks, no offense to them of course, but really not fun it throws everything off course. We did get our first fictive, and its Miku like Hatsune Miku, which im not completely sure why or how, it could be because Amari was going through an intense Miku phase her sketchbook is literally COVERED in Miku doodles, she downloaded so many Miku songs and bought multiple miku plushies and figures which are on the way here, also she was fronting the most for awhile.. but yea. The others I won't say any details because I don't know if they are ok with it or not.

But yes we are back!!! Though we (well i) posted once, I still feel ba for disappearing. Thats it, bye. :)
