I was never meant to escape. 

Chen’s hands were tied down to the chair, his legs the same. He didn’t try to struggle, he had given up. This was it.

Everyone was dead. The females house had burnt to a crisp, the males were taken out one by one. Each night another body dropping, just for doing the wrong move, the wrong word, the wrong breath. 

He was already dead. 

A faceless man moved closer, tools in his hand. This was it. This was how he was going to die. He was babydoll no more. He would feel nothing, he would be nothing.

It was the end.

Chae stares at Babydoll puzzled by this words, grabbing a shot she tips it back as he takes his shots. His behavior certainly unsettles her, does he know Viktor? Will he even help me? She stared blankly taking in the phrase, memorizing it the best she could. It would be the first thing she would send him when she walked out the door. At his final word a warmth she had lost, when she found her dog bloody one the floor, finally returned to her body.

“He has to die, he will never leave me alone if he remains on this earth. I don’t know if you know him,” she shakes her head as it seems Babydoll is some how connected to the Russians as well, “his name is Viktor Antakov.”

Taking another shot thinking about the situation, “I don’t know exactly how I can reimburse you here, so whatever way I can pay you for this I will.” She looked into the emotionless eyes of the other.

Babydoll searches his mind, trying to match a face to the name but coming up short. Russia had seemed so long ago, there was bound to be new faces rising up to fill the gaps his family had left behind. “You don’t have to pay me.” He says simply, leaning against Blondie, his head on his shoulder. “I don’t want nor need your money.” 

“I like the sweet satisfaction of a kill, when its truly deserved that is the only reward.” His green eyes glance around the club, devoid of all emotion. “Funny, I promised I wouldn’t kill anymore. Amazing what a place like this does to you. He’ll die, love. Painfully and slowly. Giving him time to think about every wrong he has done.” 

“You get him here and then leave the rest to me.”

"You…work here? Why would you choose to work in such a horrible environment?" Although the thought that it wasn’t a choice already occurred to him, and he’d rather not go down that lane of over thought just yet. As much as he wanted to ask more—he didn’t—noticing the sudden change in demeanour when the guard passed by. Babydoll? Had to be the name he went by here…was that what he was supposed to call the other? Either way, unless he was forced to, the nick name probably wouldn’t leave his mouth. As sweetly as it could’ve been used, the fact that it labeled Chen with a negative purpose dropped any desire to say it.

A hand lie over the smaller one, brown orbs wondering their way up to meet the opposing ones. “I can’t leave…at least not yet…I just found you.” His eyebrows furrowed as he continued to look at the green eyes presented to him, his own shifting from left to right. “You have to let me stay just of a little longer. I don’t want to leave you again…and by the look on your face I know you don’t want me to.” Chanyeol’s hand grabbed onto the neko’s, his facial expression dropping more than he wanted. “Chen—” He knew he wasn’t supposed to say it, so when he did it was whispered so softly, he would be surprised if the other boy even heard it. “What are you doing to you?”

“It’s... not that bad.” He lied through his teeth, not even able to hide his wince. Chen almost wanted to run away, go hide, and make sure that the other never saw him like this again. His heart was beating hard in his chest and he could feel the ache deep in his bones. This wasn’t right. Chanyeol needed to leave. This place was too dangerous for the idol and his friend, didn’t they realize it? 

Chen nearly fell apart right then and there, hand encased by the others larger one. His bottom lip trembled, and he glanced around once more to look at the guards. Just to be safe, he slipped from the table, taking a seat on his old friends lap. “Chanyeol-” He learned forward, lips brushing against his ear. “Please.” His voice was as broken as he felt. The feline couldn’t find the words, couldn’t express how much he wanted the other to stay but that he needed to go. “I’ll find you. When I get out from here- if I get out from here.” Chen turned his head, pressing a kiss to the corner of the Chanyeol’s lips. “We can’t talk here - it’s not safe.” He stressed, ears pressing flat to his head. 

This place was hell and it would drag anyone down who allowed it.

The hole inside her nearly swallowed her completely when she heard the words I can’t. Then she saw a faint smile encroach his face and a glimmer of hope appeared in the black whole that had quickly become her heart. A weak smile graced her face as she nodded acknowledgment of his departure. He couldn’t help, but someone could and he would bring them to her.

She fiddled with her glass while he was gone trying with much difficulty not to focus on her current situation at home. Her thoughts drifted to her dog and how lucky she was that the bullet had gone in where it had, one inch to the left and Nerdy would have needed an amputation. As it was she needed a blood transfusion when she had made it to the vet yesterday. Suddenly Chae was pulled from her thoughts as a tray full of shots was set down before her, she realized there were tears on the table under her quickly she wiped her cheeks. She grabbed a shot downing it quickly washing away the pain with the heat. She nodded at Blondie when he said the other would be joining them.

Chae let out a soft laugh at her second rejection of the night, that was rather unusual for her bu it was nice not to be wanted. She took a deep breath grabbing another shot taking it then sighing.

“So here is the quick version: I have a former client, who is stalking me. He has broken into my house twice, first he stapled a freshly skinned cat pelt on my wall and yesterday he tried to kill my dog. I am afraid it is either him or I. I choose him. And as he is involved in the Russian mob, from what I assume. I need help with making it him.”

Babydoll doesn’t show his emotions like Blondie does. He just nods along, looking more like he’s not even listening until he hears the words Russian Mob. “I ya polagayu, vy khotite, chtoby ya yego?" His russian is clear, as if he had never left the country. He grabbed three shots, downing them one after another. Blondie just shakes his head, smiling a little despite the heavy situation. 

“If he’s anyone with the Russians, he’ll know this phrase: Ptitsa ne poyet , potomu chto eto yest' otvet. Eto poyet, potomu chto yest' pesnya. A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.” His tone is as cryptic as his words. “Tell him of this place, tell him my name. He’ll come.”

Babydoll takes a look around the place. “Do you want him dead or just running away with his dick in his mouth? Though if you want me to dismember him, you better bring me an axe.”

The male’s teeth sunk into the inside of his cheek. He continued to examine the people he called over. All was too familiar, and it was driving him mad. As much as he wanted to say something, he also didn’t want to sound crazy. Why would Chen be somewhere like this? Especially this worn out and beaten on? Then…he remembered. The night the shorter had been upset, after Chanyeol saw him smoking on the patio. He said someone was after him…and that he couldn’t be protected. Was this what he meant? All the thoughts were jerking the muscles of his lips down into a frown slowly but he had to force the stupid slim smile back in hopes that his deep thought wouldn’t be noticed.

All at one…he received the eye contact he needed, as well as recognition from the boy. It made his head sink and continuously ache. After not hearing from him for so long and now finding him here? This isn’t anything he would’ve ever expected…and it had to be so much worse than it looked…making it only throb in his chest more. He knew for a fact the smile had to be gone by now, followed by a worried look in his eyes. Chanyeol was completely confused. Why couldn’t he say his name? A better question really was…why was /Chen/ in a place like this? He kept quiet though, nodding to show the other’s questions were acknowledged, and he figured to answer everything once he returned.

Watching the smaller limb away made his eyes squeeze shut for a minute. He had to be in so much pain…and there was so little that Chanyeol could do. Taking a deep breath he turned away, leaning against the table until he heard the other drop the glass bottle down on the table, and he looked over, nodding. “Please, sit. I’d love to talk to you.” He wanted to do so much more than that. He wanted to take care of him, heal him, protect him. Obviously there was nothing he could do right now without the proper supplies…and he wasn’t even sure of the rules of this place. “To answer you question from earlier…I’m here because a friend,” He took a moment to point over at Jongin, “Heard about this place and thought it would be a good idea. I’m just his ride…I usually don’t drink.” His eyes scanned the other male’s face. It looked so damaged. “What happened to you? Why are /you/ here?”

Chen can’t help but hiss in pain as he slips onto the table to sit, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. He closes his eyes as the others voice floods over him, wanting to answer everything but knowing that he can’t. He leans back on his hands, crossing his legs. “I work here.” He opens his eyes, looking at the other with a soft expression. It doesn’t last long, catching a guard circling the area, and just as he passes by the table he says, “I’m Babydoll and it’s a pleasure to meet you too sir.” 

The neko sighs, reaching his hand out for the other, hesitating a moment before cupping his cheek. “You should take your friend and go, Chanyeol. Please, don’t come back here...” His lower lip trembles and he feels like he’s ready to cry. He manages a broken smile as his thumb caresses the others cheek. “I don’t want you to see me like this... I don’t want you to see what we have to do.” Chen may not have had a performance tonight, but there would be plenty more to come. His eyes follow to the stage, where Sweet Pea and Blondie are. 

“It’s not safe here, you have to go.”

"I can’t help it." He kept his voice low, his fingers still brushing through the other male’s tail. If he didn’t want to look ridiculous he probably would have been more than happy to just spend the evening he’d purchased petting the other. "I don’t want to hurt you."

“You can’t hurt me.” Sweet Pea said in all seriousness. “I don’t break easily. Look at where I’m working.” He laughed softly at his own joke, his tail curling into the others fingers. “But we can just lie here until you’re ready.”

When the other male spoke again, Seongsoo reached out to gently pet his tail. He’d never seen anyone like Sweet Pea and his curiosity was starting to get the better of him. “You’re handsome.” He mumbled, easing the other onto his back with careful motions. “Are you comfortable?”

Seongsoo’s hands shook slightly as he tied the blindfold around the other male’s eyes. He’d never been the one in control and the fact that he had to pay to try it was a little embarrassing, but he didn’t want to let that show. “Is this okay?” He asked, unable to keep up an image of dominance.

Sweet Pea can hear the hesitance in the others voice. His head tilts a little and he nods, reaching out in the direction of the male. “It’s fine. Just take your time.” He says softly, hand rubbing the others thigh in hopes to calm him down a bit. “It’s no rush.”

What happened to Rose's body? How did they disposed of it?

Rose’s body was basically put in a body bag and taken to a cremation facility. There is no paperwork, no legal action, no anything. They will report her as a run away in a few days, and then in a few weeks she’ll be presumed dead. They have connections everywhere, Rose is just one of the few who have passed away in the house. 

All that is left of her in the house is her belongings. Which the four of them will split. They have nothing of face value, just sentiment.
