COPIC MARKER GIVEAWAY

Alright, so I bought all these Copics when I was in Japan years ago and have never, ever used them, so I thought someone else could treat them better.

All the Cool Greys (C0-C8) are Broad and Fine, and just about all the rest are Copic Sketch. You can see from the picture there’s a good range of color. I picked them all out according to a marker guide to get the most bang for my buck. There’s also two colorless blenders in there which are very slightly used.  Case / box isn’t included. Altogether there are about 90-95 markers (they were hard to count in just like this and I’m not taking the time to count exactly. count the photo if you want.)

If you’re a pro or aspiring to be one, just say ‘no’ to these art contests put on by major brands and marketing companies. All they do is provide the client with tons of free art and a tiny pay day for the selected artist. I’m getting more direct with my replies to these annoying emails - the one below was in reply to an email about designing a can for Mike’s Harder Lemonade (this is a multi-million dollar brand, folks, offering to pay $7500 for winning can design… pathetic)- let’s show these companies that we don’t work for free. 

Dear —-, My schedule is very busy right now, but I have a counter offer for you: I’m looking for a company to rebrand and promote my business. Please put together an amazing campaign and if I like it, I might pay you for it. This is a great opportunity for you – the exposure would be tremendous! The deadline is June 25th.

See how that feels? Do you want to do a pile of work on the off chance you will get compensated for it? Please stop treating professional artists like desperate kids with no business sense. No major brand would exist without the skilled hands and minds of the ARTISTS who make them look good. That is worth millions - please pay accordingly.
