But then when it comes down to the final moment she just can’t go through with it… She told herself that winning was what she wanted and needed but that’s not true. And now she remembers all the times that Jou was there for her as a friend… ;_;

…Well, that was an interesting choice of strategy. Although I guess it does make sense since Jou’s purpose is just to stay in the duel for as long as he can in any way he can instead of trying to actually beat Mai. Her losing won’t solve anything and he definitely doesn’t want to see her lose her soul, and he needs time to try to get through to her.

Oh hey, it’s the Red-Eyes Sword again! I think that’s the first time he’s repeated a previous equip fusion.

Hmm, that’s the second Ritual Card that he’s put into his deck. Maybe he figured that since they seem to work so well for Yami that he would try them out too. At least it’s one way of getting Red-Eyes into his hand, although he does have to give up three cards in order to do that.

THE UK VERSION OF THE DORAEMON DUB IS FANTASTIC AND IM YELLING I LOVE IT?? i always made fun of the usa dub bc i dont like the voices tbh but the different voices for the uk dub,,,, doraemon sounds like a kid and nobita also sounds like a lil boy instead of a lot older w/ that deeper voice (srry bosch) and suneo!!! i love this voice for him sOO much more!! and the theme song is preciousssss, if u guys thought i was obnoxious abt doraemon before, its gonna be a hundred thousand times worse bc i cant help it, the thorn in my flesh was the usa dub BUT THIS ONE IS SO GOOD IN COMPARISON!!! i dont even mind the fact that they kept the english names, this is everything i wanted im soo happy I AM JST GAHH

Welp here we go… One last punch to decide things. I’ll admit that Valon’s enthusiasm is rather infectious. And I’m glad that he isn’t still being insulting towards Jounouchi like he was in the dub. He’s just genuinely having fun at this point and has forgotten all about his grudge against Jou and respects him instead.
