Winter in England is cold, very, very cold and grey...

SO LETS GO TO HAWAII!

If you happen to know me, or Val in person, you'll know that neither of us are very good at planning. So about a week before leaving (just before Christmas) we booked tickets for Hawaii!

The whole trip was insanely amazing and I unfortunately forgot to blog whilst I was out there, think cause I was in complete shock of how beautiful Oahu was!

TEAZD wins 'Emerging Talent' at LONDON SURF FILM FESTIVAL

The title says it all!

After releasing TEAZD // Madeira (which was originally 10 minuets long), I was approached my Demi, from LSFF to enter TEAZD into the film festival as a shot, so after a long day and few nights I squished the film down to a nice 5 minutes long (which I know prefer).

The Festival took place over Halloween weekend and TEAZD opened the festival Thursday night. It was incredible to be at the Riverside Studios (a venue I went to a lot as a kid living in London) with cast and crew of TEAZD (Taz, Ed and our families). The film looked amazing on a big screen, the audience (a crowd of strangers) all laughed and 'wowed' at the right moments. After I was asked to do a short Q&A, dragging Taz and Ed up with me, we answered questions on the film and reassured the happy faces (audience) there will be more.

The experience as a whole was crazy, to then top it off, TEAZD/myself wins emerging talent award. This speech on the other hand was not so well spoken as I was shaking with nerves and shock. I am massively thankful to LSFF for encouraging me and thank you for a night to remember!

After bringing out the trailer for TEAZD // MADERIA, I worked along with Taz Knight (surfer from the film) to finish the edit.

TEAZD premiered at the Quicksilver store in Fistral at Boardmasters! It was awesome to see the film projected on such a large screen, have so many people come to the premier and receive a such great comments! The Quicksilver shop down on Fistral Beach was the best place to premiere as the shop vibes set a perfect tone for the film, and it was the first thing you saw walking through the doors! ;)

Bristol Airport feels like home

Back from Madeira, got two days at home before driving back to Bristol Airport to catch a flight to Portugal (Faro) with Surfing GB coach - Damon Beveridge and surfers - Alex Gibson & Will Bailey

We were just in Madeira for the last two week. Only got back to the UK two days ago. It really is a spectacular island!

Last Day dawn till dusk, Day 13

Last day finally came around the corner. Madeira is an amazing, beautiful island with some incredible challenging waves and spectacular sights.

Sure we'll be back soon the boys are hooked!

A walk, a waterfall and a water flume, Day 12

A day of no surf so we decided to walk across the mountains where we found a natural racing water flume and a waterfall into icy cold depths.
