returning to my roots.

i've severely missed rp-ing on tumblr and it's where i started my journey with krp. i love writing as a pastime and i miss the in depth threads and interactions with long time rp partners and the freedom of expression that comes with writing on tumblr. i've been on twitter for the past 8 years or so but now i am returning back to what i know best.

i would love to plot with people and write on here as it truly is no holds barred but i am also (slightly) open to rp servers on discord as well. i welcome any and all plots and encourage you to like this post if you are interested in writing with me.

i am literate but i do not require anyone to match what i write. i just want to explore and return to the fun of having such a strong creative outlet for me and other likeminded individuals. please read my rules first though. i'm 21+ so no minors at all.

there was a brief moment she almost spit out her drink as he spoke, laughter resonating from her, her head falling back briefly as she regarded him with sparkling amusement in her eyes. "you're totally not wrong which is the fucked up part. it's just hard to imagine free willy's cousin being such a cunt but then again, orcas are no better." she gave a small shake of her head to emphasize her words, taking a small drink as she listened to his question. "oh my god, so australia. naturally. the beaches there are absolutely stunning. i've only ever been to sydney for an opera show my mom got invited to. but i do love the water. are you from australia?"

Nabi was enjoying her day off from training. She hadn’t been to the amusement park in so long, busy with school and training, that it felt fitting to finally enjoy a day to herself. She felt carefree, simply enjoying the nice weather, absorbing the laughter, giggles and screams that could be heard from the visitors. Her heart was filled with warmth and she felt as though she could finally tackle the world again after today.

Of course, the first stop was the gift shop, how can one visit the amusement park without animal headbands? Debating between the cliche but adorable bear ones and the silly yet cute tiger ones, she laughed as tried them on herself, checking out the mirror to see how she looked, brushing her hair off her forehead. Maybe to others it was weird for a girl to be at the amusement park alone, but the amusement park was such a stress reliever for herself. 

Though her journey and fun was stopped short when a random girl ran to her and started talking to her. At first, she thought she was on the phone, but when she ducked, Nabi realized she was, indeed, talking to her. Confused, head quirking as she tried to understand and access the situation, it seemed as though the girl was trying to avoid someone, or better yet, escape from that person. 

It seemed today was not the day for an amusement day. With a small sigh, she took off the tiger headbands and looked around. “The exit is around the corner. Do you want to walk next to me and just pretend we know each other? It seems like it’ll be the easiest escape from here. But you don’t have to pay me back anything.” She offered a smile and straightened herself up before stepping in front of the girl, blocking others’ view of her. “Let’s go.”

jia was well aware how much of a burden she was placing on an absolute stranger but the consequences of her own actions placed in her a position of desperation. it could've been very likely that she would've been rejected at a moments notice by the girl she'd approached, but maybe there was someone floating around in the sky up there because this woman seemed to be an absolute angel sent to save her.

"oh my god, i could kiss you right now." the relief was palpable in her features as she broke into a smile looking at the other girl as she jumped on board. "thank you so much, oh my god. you're literally saving my life." she heaved a deep, relaxed sigh to prepare herself.

jia brought her dark hair further around her to conceal her profile as much as she could, also making it a point to look in any direction but the one where her dance trainer was. she moved beside the other girl and linked arms with her, walking as naturally -- but quickly -- as they could until they were able to make their way out into the walking area of the park and a safe distance away.

her hands came up through her hair and fell over her face before she cupped them over her heart, releasing breath she didn't know she had been holding. "oh my fucking god. i thought i would pass out. i'm so sorry!" her apology was swift and sincere, her eyes filled with atonement. "i didn't mean to ruin your trip like this. you have to let me pay you back somehow. we can go ride something or i can win you something at the arcade games?" it was clear she wanted to genuinely do something to return the favor.

she had seen it coming.

the excitement which reverberated from the younger lady, albeit adorable to look at and contagious that it evoked a few giggles from natsuki’s plush lips, was not the perfect match to have when a bowl of sweet, cold treat was cradled on one’s hands.

they were even reminded by the shop keeper to be careful as the roads that lay ahead were not the smoothest ones constructed.

natsuki, too, had her fair share of soft nagging towards her but went unnoticed as the vibrant ice cream colors dashed with rainbow chocolate sprinkles were too powerful to even try to compete with for attention.

her gaze traveled between her and the melted ice cream, now having its moment on the ground before heaving a sigh. she eventually marched over to the crestfallen woman, ignoring any questioning looks thrown their way, and reached an arm out in consolation.

a playful i told you so tickling the tip of her tongue but being a food advocate, she knew the ice cream could mean a lot to someone and she held the thought back in.

“don’t say that.” she started, gently running a hand on her arm whilst trying to pull her up. “and i'm most definitely not leaving you alone here. i still have mine. we can share?”

an offer she rarely does because ‘food is life’ but her heart broke much more seeing the devastation clouding around her.

“or we can go back and get a new one?”

had the world always been so cruel? to take her absolute favorite sweet treat away from her in such a heartless way without warning, she'd felt as if the gods themselves had smote her happiness and left her an empty shell with a restless soul. if she had been left here in this moment, surely she'd return as a sad spirit or something in her afterlife, only fading away into the distant eternity just like the trail of her oreo ice cream.

it didn't help that she had been amply warned but this was when stubbornness and her tendency to tread her own path lead to her own downfall in this instance. she didn't heed the warning and allowed her excitement to get the best of her and alas... here were the consequences.

she could've been moved to tears had she sulked for long. it wouldn't have been the first time.

fortunately, she was not alone even if her despondent state sought solace in her misery and the comforting arm wrapped around her allowed her to release a sigh at the words of consolation.

"i can't do that. your ice cream is yours. you deserve that." jia looked up, turning a hopeful gaze to natsuki before she rested her head upon her shoulder. "let's go back. maybe she'll give me another one with extra oreo this time."
