Day 4: The last day and the day I took the fewest pictures (by few I mean one 😞) Not pictured are my first New York pizza, cheesecake, and the Natural History Museum (I am the worst with pictures, I know). So here is one of a restaurant we ate at in Chinatown. Maybe I was so exhausted and hungry, but this place was goooood. Long wait, but soooo worth it. Day 3: Central Park 😍 I fell in love with this place, and all the little trails and bridges and trees and benches. I had to visit Strawberry Fields (duhh, Beatles fan), and of course, someone was playing Beatles songs on his guitar 🎶 Then we walked to Rockefeller Center where people were already ice skating?! We walked down 5th Avenue (did not do any shopping womp womp), and stopped by St. Patrick’s Cathedral (I’m a lover of old churches). Day 2: This was the longest day, and it was the most productive. Went to the WTC Memorial, and I can’t fully explain the feeling. Serene, emotional (I might have teared up), heavy.... beautiful. Then we walked down the street to see the Statue of Liberty 🗽from a restaurant on the water, and we continued our walking to Wall Street. From there, we walked to the Brooklyn Bridge 🌉, where we rented Citi bikes and took them across into Brooklyn (killed my legs in the process, but it was worth it). Since biking across the bridge one way was good enough, we took the subway towards Chelsea Market, where by the way, I had the best bulgogi sliders 😍. We finished the night by walking the High Line, and I wish I took the time to just sit and take in the sights but that will be for next time! Reminiscing about this past week, and feeling very disappointed in myself for not taking more photos, but here are the few that I did manage to take from my first trip to NYC 🌃🗽|| Day 1: I hopped off the plane and took my first ride on a subway (by myself) AND got lost (whoops). I went to my first NBA game (not pictured), learned a bit about basketball, almost missed out on free food because I made us late (sorry!), but nonetheless, it was fun!
